Original (2 stars): I bought these bulbs because they are brighter than my current smart bulbs. Unfortunately, they have a very subtle but constant flickering that's driving me nuts. I was worried it was my fixture, so I tested with a regular candelabra bulb, which worked fine. It's a bit disappointing because these were the brightest e12 smart bulbs I could find, and I had no trouble connecting them to my router. I'll have to settle for something dimmer. I have three of these in my fan. I can't control them all as one unit. They each have to be set individually. If you create a "tap to run" action you can set it to "color" but you can't select a color. App needs a major rework

I like everything about this bulb with the exception of wifi connection stability. It uses 802.11g!! Not even 802.11n (2.4) The ONLY way they remain connected is with line of sight to the access point. One wall can easily degrade the connection and sometimes they don't even connect back when signal improves (clean wifi channels with no RF interference). When I set these up I immediately had an issue right off the bat. Out of the 4 bulbs 1 of them simply would not connect to the App. The other 3 worked fine; luckily I only needed 3 of these for my overhead light so I was able to test them out anyways. With the 3 that worked, I was actually impressed at first. These are obviously a budget brand for smart bulbs, so the app is less advanced than some of the main brands like Phillips Hue or GE Cync, but it worked. I was able to integrate with Google Home/Assistant and control these bulbs along with my Cync ones without any issues. The colors were good and the brightness was fine (though slightly dimmer than I'd like). The problem came when I went to sleep, the lights were off in the app and the power was on so they could turn on via a routine. A few hours later IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT one of the 3 bulbs decides to come on for no reason at all - no routine or other timer based activity told it to turn on. I was frustratingly awoken by the bulb, but just turned it off via the app on my phone and went back to sleep. A couple hours later the bulb decided to turn itself on AGAIN, so I had to kill the power at the switch. Just as a test, I left the switch on the next day with the bulbs off via the app, and sure enough the next time I came back into the room one of the bulbs had randomly turned itself back on. The other 2 were fine. I'm not sure if this was just another lemon or what might have caused this, but with the 4th bulb not connecting at all - I now have 2 bulbs that work and 2 that don't. I was hoping these would be a decent budget option for lights that I didn't need a bunch of fancy features on, but will be swapping them out for some GE Cync bulbs. -- UPDATED. ORIGINAL REVIEW ABOVE -- LightingInside reached out to me after posting this and offered to send me another set of bulbs to try out. I've installed the new set and they've been humming along nicely without any of the issues the original set gave me. Excellent service and a company that stands behind their products. I am bumping this review to 4 stars since the seller has tried to contact me about 30 times. I do not have time to troubleshoot connectivity issues, and I do believe they are unique to my setup in my house. This may be a good product for others with different style homes. -- I was able to get these connected, but have had issues with them staying connected consistently. I think you would have to have the perfect setup with no interference for them to stay connected consistently. I would personally not pay $50 (the non-"sale" price) for just 4 of these. I will say though, it was refreshing to be able to add these via the SmartLife app, rather than ANOTHER no-name/one-off app that would only be used for certain smart lights. ... show more

I really do enjoy these Candelabra style bulbs. These are smart bulbs so they can connect to your Alexa or Google Home device as well. They are easy to set up and install. Once plugged on you have to first pair them with thr Smart Life app on your phone. For me that was a piece of cake because I already use Smart Life for other devices across my home. Took about 3-5 minutes to get all 3 bulbs added together. Once connected you can immediately change the settings of the bulbs, including the color and tone. Personally I like the 'cool' tone as it's more white than yellow. Once connected to smart Life you can control your lights directly from your phone by turning them on/off or changing brightness levels and colors to all sorts of colors! Awesome! I also have a Google Home Assistant. All I had to do was connect my Smart Life app to my Google Home and then it instantly connected and I can now just say "Hey Google turn on/off my ceiling Lights" and it works immediately.
