It does actually make my Meta Quest stay alive longer although the kind of games I play put it at more like an extra 3-4 hours. It looks kinda dumb but so do VR headsets in general so its really more about the performance. I can't stand having a long cord tethering me to my computer or wall charger and this fixes the issue at least until the battery dies and i'm forced to take a break.

My 8yr old plays his Oculus quest 3s constantly & was begging for an extra battery so he wouldn't have to get off every time it died. I looked at so many battery extensions with straps. Alot of them were pretty pricey too. I read so many reviews & ultimately chose this one so he wouldn't have the weight of the battery extension on his head & neck, & so he could still lay back with it on. It's Day 3 with it & so far this battery is great! It works so good! It takes his VR from nearly dead to over halfway charged so fast! It's so easy to put on & to connect. My son says it's great! I absolutely recommend this!

This is one SMART design. The first time I wore this it so comfortable that it frankly surprised me, because the experience was so much better than I expected. It's a real comfort upgrade compared to my experience with a very popular back-of-head battery pack. I do notice that I'm wearing this, but it doesn't interfere with my enjoyment of my game or feel like a nuisance. It might feel heavy on a child or on a very small adult, but for an average-sized adult gamer like me I think it sits very comfortably and is well-balanced. It's great having the extra juice to extend my VR game time without being tethered to a wall. If I'm honest, when I'm in the flow of playing the last thing I want to do is keep an eye on my battery levels. So, sometimes my regular built-in battery drains without me realizing how much time has gone by. Now I have an easy backup that's comfortable to wear so that I can keep playing pretty much as long as I could ever want without my battery dropping out.
