Love these little lamps!! We bought two. We have Verizon 5G home internet with a Verizon extender and we use Apple HomeKit. They connected with ease to the main router. We found that we had to “walk” them back to our main bedroom at the back of the house to get them to switch to the extender (meaning we connected them initially right next to the router and then unplugged them and plugged them back in next to the extender and left them plugged in there for about 15 minutes and then unplugged them and plugged them back in where we wanted them to stay). Since then, no issues. One piece of advice, for some reason, we found that if their plugged in on the same power strip as your phone charger, when you plug your phone in to charge, it turns the lamp on, other than that, no issues. We love them so much, it was worth working around this issue. Totally worth it. We love all the colors you can choose, the night light feature and the quality of the light. They’re a perfect size for a bedside table and give off a lot of light for their size. We bought used lights and have had zero issues with either. Highly recommend!! ... show more

These smart lamps are great for the money, and ideal for a child’s room. The touch control makes it easy to turn on with a tap of your finger and off with a double-tap, and once on, you can change color with each additional tap. You can also adjust brightness by touching and holding, though it takes a few seconds to cycle through all the brightness levels. Setup was simple with the Apple Home app, and both the Apple Home and Meross apps work nicely to control the color, brightness, and power on/off. I bought 2 and the WiFi on one stopped working after a couple months but Meross customer support was great and sent a replacement after a brief bit of troubleshooting. If it were for my own bedroom, the Soft White setting is a little too yellow for my taste, and I can’t seem to adjust it quite to my preference, but for kids it’s perfect. ... show more

This lamp packs a punch in brightness despite its smaller-than-expected size (check the measurements folks!!). Once set up, it works flawlessly with app controls and adjustable warmth/cool tones—perfect for my workspace. However, the setup process was a GRIND. The instructions were vague, and didnt address my issues, and I spent 20 minutes Googling, cross-referencing the app, and trial-and-erroring connections. Persistence paid off, though, and NOW it integrates smoothly with Homekit. A few design tweaks FOR THE SETUP PROCESS and clearer guides would make this 5-star, but if you’re tech-savvy (or stubborn), it’s a solid smart-lighting pick! ... show more

I love this lamp! You can set up routines, change the color, set scenes! It’s amazing! I originally had an issue with the power cord of the lamp (I received an EU plug rather than a US power plug). I purchased this smart lamp back in Feb 2021 after having read some solid reviews I was initially excited about the product. But almost immediately, I came across issues. Set up was difficult. I had to add the accessory onto my home app at least 4 times before it was successfully connected. And from there on out, network connection dropped several times a week, just with this HomeKit accessory. This has been the experience since having it, but I had learned to just accept it. It worked, but as mentioned, the inconsistent issues just kept happening. About 3 days ago it completely stopped connecting to my home network. There was no changes on how I used the product, moved it to another location, an accidental bump - nothing, it just stopped working. After trying the factory reset and reconnecting it for about 5 times, I just gave up on the item. Amazon was kind enough so send me a replacement. And here we are again. Exact same issues have surfaced. Setup was very complicated, it took several attempts. Connection is again very inconsistent, and at the time of writing this it is just not being picked up by my home network. All other HomeKit devices are working fine. At this point I am returning the item and will not be buying any further Meross items, very unfortunate experience. ... show more

    • Decent product, painful setup (read for proper instructions)

It’s a pretty good light and it does what it says but the setup process was a PAIN! If you try to set up with Apple HomeKit it WILL NOT HAPPEN. First, if you have a 5GHz, even if it is on automatic mode 2.4GHz-5GHz, it WILL NOT WORK. I had to create a separate 2.4GHz only network just for the lamp. Second, even setting up with the Meross app will not work if you select HomeKit. You have to select a non HomeKit model and connect it to the 2.4GHz network. After it’s added to the app and you make sure you can control it, then you go to Apple HomeKit and it will finally add it. I was able to do this because I’m technologically advanced and I know what I’m doing. I’m sure the majority of the people won’t know what to do and the instructions are so vague and badly translated that they won’t help. After all that I’m finally controlling my light with Siri. I hope this review helps all those struggling to set this thing up ... show more
