I could not get this thing paired with my iPhone. I contacted this product’s customer service, and a tech by the name of Barrett reached out and provided the assistance. I need it.     • Did not work on my 2.4 gz wifi network
My router broadcasts a wifi signal in 2.4 gz and 5 gz. During setup the app says I am attempting to connect to a 5 gz wifi network. I tried over 20 times to connect and it simply would not. The message said, "Operation Failed." In addition, the item I received was black not silver. Is it possible I got a defective one? Yes, but I'm not interested in going through troubleshooting before they send a replacement. Maybe I will wait a few months and order one after the bugs are worked out. UPDATE: I was sent a replacement Gateway. I could not connect it either. However. I read that 5gz WiFi signal only travels a short distance. So I turned off the mesh pucks on one side of the house and went into my garage to what I thought was beyond the distance of the 5gz signal. I was able to connect to the 2.4 gz signal. When I moved it inside and plugged it back in it remembered and connected to the WiFi. Kudos to Nutomo for their customer service. I have changed my rating to 4 stars. I will change it to 5 stars once I find out if my WiFi password is encrypted. ... show more

I bought this to work with my lock just incase I'm not home and my kids jad any issues getting into the house. It works works wonders and also works with alexa . It came in handy twice and a third time when I wasn't feeling good and couldn't get up to get the door . The only thing is you can only use one per device so I have the smart.lock and use next lock app to navigate the lock but if I were to buy another front door finger print lock and it needed the G2 than I would have to buy a second one to be able to use it away from home as I do with the one that I have now. ... show more
