Versatile and sturdy. The product is good for the price and for those on a budget. Legs are easily adjustable and stable. The ball mount is about what I’d expect for the price, Can get jammed up sometimes. The screws for the legs tend to become very loose, making the legs flop around while walking. I usually have to retighten them all after every shoot. All the other features work well and the build quality is pretty good overall. I’d say it’s a good buy for those on a budget.

This Smallrig tripod is one of the best that I've purchased. It's lightweight, very strong and the ball head is absolutely great. It stays where you lock it. Cudo's to Smallrig. My first order arrived missing the mounting plates. Wrote to Amazon/Smallrig and within a few days they sent a 2nd tripod (no charge). I have used this tripod with my Nikon D4, d7000 and Z6II. Unless its very, very windy out there is no camera shake even with a big telephoto lens.. Well worth the price...

I've used a few tripods in my life. I'm far from a professional, and nothing in the thousand dollar range or anything... But for under $100 this thing is pretty incredible. It FEELS sturdy. Like you can just feel that this thing is ready to work. The adjustments are easy and quick. And the arca plate is a nice change from what I've used in the past. The fact that this came with a cell phone mount too... It should have been the tripod I bought years ago. I added the Small rig fluid video head too, and I'm ready to go!

The controls to manage the turning are a bit awkward. They work, but there's a lot of fiddling to make it great. There's also the tendency for the camera to creep down as you tighten it no matter how small the lens. You basically have to aim a bit high and let it drop to where you want the focus.

I love this tripod. It's lightweight and easy to use. I have a lot of tripods and this one is my go-to. I do want to tell you though, that if you take it, take the allen wrench with you. Sometimes the legs and other items work their way loose. Keeping the allen wrench on hand to tighten them is important. It's not a deal breaker by any stretch but it does annoy me personally. For the price, it's a great product and comes with a lot of accessories.
