  • FORMFITTING FULL CAGESMALLRIG ZV1 Cage 2938 is exclusively designed for Sony ZV1 Camera. As a formfitting full cage, it is designed to provide protection, accessory mounts and a comfort grip for your ZV1 camera. The camera mounts onto the cage via a front lens ring clamp that securely holds the camera.
  • BUTTON ACCESSIBLESmallRig cage 2938 DOES NOT block the access to your camera's functions, displays, ports, or battery when attaching a handle or tripod. You can attach the tripod to the right side of the cage to shoot vertically for TikTok.
  • COMFORTABLE SHOOTINGOn the front of the cage features anti-slip silicone gel coverings to provide a comfortable handheld shooting. Optional Cable Clamp 1693 is provided and allows protecting the HDMI cable. (Note: When using the cable clamp 1693, please clamp the HDMI cable & rubber cover together.)
  • MULTIPLE MOUNTING POINTSThe cage features multiple 1/4"-20 threaded holes on top for extra Cold Shoe Mount 2044 and Mini Top Handle 2821. The bottom of the cage is not only features a shoe mount on the bottom for a light or microphone, but also features multiple 1/4"-20 threads allow the battery and card changes without unscrewing a shooting handle or a tripod.
  • SWEET DESIGNThe ZV1 cage features rubber pads on the bottom to protect your camera body and prevent scratching. Additionally, the cage provides a strap slot on each side for carrying straps. Also, an Allen wrench is included to enable you to tighten and loosen the screws quickly.

This cage looks good on the ZV1 and adds a little bit more to grip. Smallrig could have added a small amount of reinforced connection to the mounting ring. There is a minor amount of wiggle/play. And yes, it is mounted correctly.

It’s nice and the metal feel makes my camera look and feel more premium, also I can now hook up a light and mic and battery pack at the same time while on a tripod and can still get to the battery door, I recommend this but make sure you don’t over tighten the screw to snug to camera and make sure it’s flush and pushed to camera before tightening ... show more

lets face it. its embarrassing having a ZV-1 because then you dont really look like a pro. this cage changes that (somewhat.) yeah you have a point and shoot with no removable lenses but this cage will give you the functionality of multiple attachments as well as a look that says Im not such a noob. it honestly takes attention away from the camera itself and makes it look beastly.
