This Smallrig 3-pack screen protector is a great value. At <$10, I thought the quality was potentially going to be poor, but I was wrong! This is my first camera screen protector, but the kits are very similar to materials and process to a cell phone screen protector (if you've ever installed one of those). I don't think I will have need for the other 2 that came in the kit, but it's nice to have a backup I suppose. Installation is pretty simple... Wipe the screen with the wet cloth labeled step 1, wipe the screen with the dry clot labeled step 2, wipe the screen with the lens cleaning cloth, then use the hard side of the dust remover sticky (hard size, not the sticky side) if there happens to be an dust that falls on the screen between cleaning and putting the screen protector on. With the screen all clean, and the dust all off, pull the backing off the screen protector, align over the screen, set one side down followed by the other side. If you don't see the screen protector turn deep black as it sticks just give a light push in the middle. You can get instructions like this from smallrig, but will need to scan a QR code. no paper instructions are provided. During the affixing process, the screen was easy to clean, and I go NO air bubbles. The box that the screen protectors ships in keeps them from getting warped in transit. My Powershot V1 still works like it did before the screen protector, and the extra layer does not keep the screen from closing properly in anyway. This works just like I had hoped, and is a high quality genuine tempered glass unit with a premium feel. highly recommend.

Small Rig screen protectors are another must have for photographers. Protect your investment!! Cameras are not cheap and spending a small price to save your self from hundreds of dollars in repair expenses if you crack your screen. That alone makes the functionality of the screen protector a must have. Installation is easy but take your time with the actual application. Use the enclosed preparation kit to clean the screen, dry it and then remove any dust. Slowly add the screen protector to the screen and the reason you want to go slow is so you don’t accidentally stick it to the screen before you have it aligned correctly. With the protector on, the fit is almost complete coverage. The cut off the protectors is just right. Using the touch screen is still smooth because the protector does not hide the sensitivity at all. This pack has 3 protectors so you can cover multiple camera screens or cover ones and use the other two as spares. If you crack the protector, simply pull it off and apply a new one. Very cost effective.

Works perfectly on my Canon R6 II. Fit is spot on with no overhang or weird gaps around the edges, and it doesn’t interfere with touch responsiveness at all. Once it’s on, you honestly forget it’s there. The clarity is excellent and the screen looks just as sharp and bright as it did without a protector. Installation was straightforward and stress free. I was able to line it up easily and it settled down without bubbles, which isn’t always a given with tempered glass protectors. The 2.5D rounded edges feel nice when swiping and don’t catch your finger, and the glass itself feels solid without adding noticeable thickness to the back of the camera. I’ve been using it during regular shooting and travel and it gives me peace of mind knowing the screen is protected from scratches and knocks. Having a three pack is also a big plus since you get backups or can redo it later if needed. For the price, this feels like an easy recommendation for anyone using an R6 II who wants simple, reliable screen protection without changing how the camera feels or looks.

I've been into photography as a hobby for almost 20 years now. A few years back, I found out about SMALLRIG and started using their products with my camera gear. I recently got an R6 Mark II refurbished from Canon, and I wanted a way to protect the articulating touchscreen. Given my positive experiences with SMALLRIG, I decided to give this a go - it's another winner. The kit is extremely easy to install and includes everything you need for a hassle-free, dust-free, streak-free installation. The cut of the glass is perfect - right up to the edge. Take your time installing to line it up right! It does not impact touch or articulation/storage of the screen, and color/contrast are not noticeably impacted. Reflections are perhaps slightly stronger than they are without the screen protector on, but that's splitting hairs. Overall, I think this is the way to go if you have an R6 MK2
