I got a M4 to 3/8-16" adapter and took off the Y part and used it to screw on the DZOFilm Catta Ace 35-80mm for a much more robust support. Thus I had a support for the PL to L adapter AND a support for the mid section of the zoom lens. Much more robust support so that the L mount on the Blackmagic Pyxis doesn't wear poorly. ... show more

I've used this with 70-200mm f.28 EF lenses, and even a small 400mm wide-field telescope on a BM6KPro without issues. Raising/lowering is straightforward, though a fine screw-based height adjustment would be nice on an upgraded model. As it is, it works as needed for the price point, and the "V" of the base holds a wide variety of larger and smaller lenses. ... show more

Simple to use, great quality. I use it to support my 40mm Atlas Orion lens which is very heavy. One suggestion I would make to small rig is to put feet on the bottom that can extend or fold up when not in use to help stabilize your rig when it’s sitting on a table.
