Small heater that works well. I use it off of my 12 volt battery inverter on moderately cool days when there's enough sunlight to charge the solar. Minus one star for no thermostatic control.

I was not expecting to like this little heater so much. It throws out noticeable heat for about 3 or 4 feet. This would probably work well in a cold office. I also ordered a 200 watt Lasko heater with this one. There was really a huge difference in heat output between the two. The 200 watt heater only threw out heat for about a foot or so. That's ok for a desk top but not your feet. This 400 watt heater is much more effective. I did notice that the front grill got pretty hot though. This is definitely something to consider if you're using it around kids. Also, it gives off a "new heater" smell when you first use it, but I think that's normal across brands. I haven't used it long enough to attest to it's longevity. For under $20, I consider this a good deal. ... show more

They are for the most part great! I use these more than most people and can say that they do have a shelf life if constantly used. For the price point they are very valuable! No temperature control.

    • A nice heater for its intended us.
This heater works as intended--to heat a small area, such as at a desk. There are no controls except the on/off switch, which I didn't find a problem. Any slight movement or tilt causes the auto-shutoff to engage, and safety-wise this is a good thing. I've been satisfied with this purchase.

This heater is small but packs a punch.. if you need something for work that’s low watts won’t trip any breakers but puts out heat this is it. Brought this for work and it’s perfect… nice price and keeps you warm.. creates a little heat bubble where your sitting …. It’s worth it

Doesn't quite push the air out enough. Not really sure what it is designed for as it is really small. I bought it for my vehicle. Not unhappy with it but also not what I wanted. The tip-over button on the bottom is great for my purpose!
