I got this for my desk at work and I love it. It’s the perfect size to sit on my desk and even though it’s short, it is quite bright. It’s a pretty standard light with a switch on the cord to turn it on and off. The light is a very warm color, and not harsh.

This is a solid, inexpensive choice if you want to give a kid’s bedroom a simple, mid-century modern touch. The 9" size works perfectly for small spaces, and the warm 3000K LED bulb creates a cozy glow without being harsh. It’s bright enough (680 lumens) to light up the whole room, but still soft thanks to the linen shade. Assembly took less than a minute — just attach the shade, screw in the included bulb, and plug it in. The inline control switch is easy to reach and safer for kids or pets since it’s stable and not touch-based. The materials are fine for the price point, but they’re not premium — I reserve 5 stars for higher-end finishes. Wonderful little lamp. Great for your money. I needed one for the very dark kitchen I just moved into but needed more than a night light. This is perfect. It actually lights up the whole kitchen at night but subtly. It's not too bright and not too dull. Packaging is amazing. Everything is stuffed with Styrofoam pieces and plastic. I've never received anything packed so well! This lamp will match any decor and the color is neutral. The bulb is included but the shade sits on top of it. If I put in a regular bulb I think the shade will fit better. It comes with directions (plus contact info if you need help with anything), but I didn't even read them and got it together just fine in a matter of minutes. Simply put, I love this. It's a fantastic value for your money! I'm considering getting another just for the heck of it. I'll find a place for another one! ... show more
