I work in a factory with concrete floors and I'm on my feet for 8-10 hours a night. These boots are fantastic. They are very comfortable and supportive. I always recommend them to coworkers whenever they mention tired achey feet. I am so happy with these Timberland Pros. I've had these for over a year now and the quality is outstanding, they are still holding up just as well as the day I bought them. I had a purchase a pair of steel toe boots for my new job. I never had to wear steel toes before and I was worried they would be very heavy on my feet. The boots are very lightweight being a steel toe shoe. They don’t feel much different than regular timberland boots in my opinion. These boots are also true to size. I usually wear a women’s 8.5 but ordered the 9 because the 8.5 was out of stock at the time. They are a little roomy but nothing too big. I wear these for work. I usually wear a size 6, and I ordered a 6. They fit perfectly. Comfortable right out of the box. They have not let any water in, despite stepping in deep puddles. Not much arch support but still very comfy. I might put my custom orthotics in. I do wish they had a zipper, because to get them on and off I have to really loosen the laces. Not a big deal. These are not super rigid boots, they are flexible... but I do have to re-tighten the laces after wearing for several hours. I work in an office setting but have to frequently walk our plant which requires steel or composite toe shoes/boots and I don't have a single complaint about them. They look nice, they're comfortable (no "breaking in" needed), they're waterproof (easy to clean), and they don't feel super heavy on my feet. My husband has a slightly different version of these boots from when he worked for UPS and they've held up great the past 5 years so I'm expecting the same from these! ... show more

I purchased these boots to replace a pair of "Tennis" shoe style work shoes that had a steel toe. I have been through a lot of shoes and boots over 10 years. This is the best thing I did for my feet in purchasing these boots. The biggest thing I like about these boots is the toe box. From the ball of my foot to my toes, there is ample room in this section of the boot. My feet do not get that fatigue feeling or the "I just want these off." I live on a multi-acre property and work constantly outside. I needed a good pair of boots/shoes to get jobs done. These are waterproof as I was working in wet grass. They kept my feet dry. Also, these are so comfortable! To break them in, I did house work in them most of the day, even with the steel toe. I couldn't be happier. I loved these boots when I first got them! The toes were a little tight but I learned to ignore that while I was moving around, and eventually I just got used to it and that didn't bother me anymore. I was working in the snow last week and after I noticed the leather separated from the sole on my left boot... this was my third pair of boots from this company and I have never had that happen before. (I did fill out a warranty claim so I am keeping my fingers crossed that this is something they can help with). I would recommend these boots if you are not working in snow frequently. The separating is my only complaint since I have only had them a year and only wore them regularly for about 6 months. ... show more
