I ordered this slushie machine because its capacity is 88 ounces, enough to host a frozen daiquiri party. It worked well for that purpose and for making milkshakes to serve as dessert. The machine came with rapid chill technology that shortened the freezing process and overcame the lowered freezing point of alcoholic drinks; a plus is that it runs quietly. The machine’s presets made it possible to be successful without mastering any drink-making techniques. I was thankful for that because the Slushie machine instructions didn’t cover customizing settings. All the drink recipes in the smoothie maker booklet called for cans of soda. No other ingredients were listed, so the recipes weren’t complete. However, a website on the recipe booklet’s back cover led to many slushy drink recipes specifically written for this slushy machine with ingredients and machine-specific preset settings. This machine is dishwasher safe and has an automatic clean setting, but there were no instructions for using that function, and I couldn’t see how the inside of the plastic bucket assembly’s dispensing valve would get cleaned in a dishwasher. It didn’t take me long to wash the machine’s bucket with soap and water, and run the soapy water through the dispensing valve. The stirring blade was the only part I put in the dishwasher since it would do a better job of cleaning that part than I could. Unfortunately, the soap left a haze on the clear plastic bucket. I wiped most of it off with a dish towel, but the bucket’s transparent plastic body is no longer as clear as it was when the machine came out of the box. ICRINA’s Slushy Machine looked big in the product description pictures, but it fits nicely on my countertop and doesn’t crowd the upper cabinets. It’s a good addition to my kitchen, and the fun of making different frozen drinks results in it getting more use than I anticipated.

I can finally have slushies whenever I want without having to spend a lot at a fast food join or convenience store. I might even get fancy at some point with some virgin strawberry daiquiris. Even frozen tea is really good. I just wish it easier to clean. The pictures and description say that this is self-cleaning, but there's no function for it, and no mention about it anywhere else. It does help if as soon as you empty your drink out to fill it with water and run it like for a drink, but with just water (although even slushy water can be good sometimes). It does help clean it, but I feel like the mechanisms and dispenser need better cleaning than that.

Says the machine has a capacity of 68 oz in the manual but the listing on Amazon says it is 88 oz. It does look to be a quality machine but I would have went one that has a larger capacity. Just feel like I was mis-lead astray with the false capacity listing. Not sure if I'm gonna returning it or not because it such a hassle. FIX THE LISTING AMAZON!!!!!!!

The media could not be loaded. First, you have to try this machine. Those frozen margaritas that you had to pay $15 a glass for at the restaurant or bar days are over. The ICRINA Slushie machine is easy to use. You simply pour in the juice and turn on the machine. The machine literally does all the work….as long as you put in the right ingredients. There is science behind the making of slushies that I did not think about nor appreciate at the time of getting the machine. There must be a certain percentage of sugar in the mix and only up to a certain percentage of alcohol. The reasoning is that those percentages affect the freezing temperature. The machine itself is the top shelf model. All the parts fit together well, and it is crafted to be durable and long lasting. The tank cylinder locks in place and there was a water tight seal on the machine. I have not had any leaks, and the included drip pan helps to alleviate problems that are from human error. The settings on the machine basically deal with the type of liquid that you are trying to make into a slushie, smoothie or milkshake. This machine has some heft to it and the speed that it freezes the liquid is not bad at all. Best of all, it is very quiet. If you want to have frozen drinks that are bar quality without the per glass price, this is the machine to get.

This is a really great appliance to have during the summer, if you want an ice cold slushie you just have to plug it in add some soda and press the start button. It really works great for regular sodas, makes great consistency slushies more ice based rather than the convenience store style slushies. The machine takes 29 to 40 minutes depending on volume to make a slushie. The machine doesn’t work so great if the drink has low sugar content or artificial sugar, then the auger starts to make a lot of noise and the slush consistency doesn’t come out right. But for regular sugar drinks or high sugar drinks it works great and you can even vary the ice level of the slushie. The other problem I find is it is a lot of parts to clean after using it which discourages me from using it more often. The last small complaint is about the dispenser, sometimes with low volume left in the tank then it takes very long to dispense to the point where you can’t get the last liquid out of the machine which is unfortunate. But these are only small inconveniences in an overall great machine with good build quality and a nice look. Overall I do recommend it, it is cheaper than the name brand too.

My husband has been dreaming of a slushy machine for a while, so when I came across this one I figured I would give it a shot. My husband was pleasantly surprised after using it the first time! This machine did make a little less slush than anticipated, however, it works super fast, so that did not matter too much. In fact, I like the fact that it is a bit smaller compared to other machines on the market since it is easy to store. Machine was very easy to operate and control, and they love the electronic screen. We use this machine for a small family party, and it was a hit, and I am looking forward to using it for summer barbecues. I have not had any issues when working in this machine as of now.
