I have been continuously pleased by how smoothly it handles the needs of a busy beverage service ever since I included this in the setup of my tiny café a few weeks ago for the first time. On its very first day, I watched as it started creating smooth frozen drink slush in less than ten minutes after I engaged the 1100 W motor, loaded the hopper with our normal base mixture, and gave it a good shake. I never have to worry about rushing to get stock or turning away clients because of the potential of quick freezing. This is true even during the busiest afternoon hours, when orders are piling up. The self-cleaning mode is one of the features that genuinely sticks out. I just pour some warm water and a little bit of light detergent into the machine before turning it on for the cycle, and then it rinses itself fully. This happens every evening before I close it. Not only does this save me the time that I would have spent disassembling and washing our previous batch freezer, but it also reduces the amount of work that is required to maintain a constant level of sanitation. By the time morning rolls around, the components are ready to be used once again, which has helped me simplify my opening process and allowed me to devote more of my attention to preparing the cuisine for the day.

This doesn't shave as smooth as I would like, however it is super easy to use. There is a container to freeze the ice that is just the right size. It makes one at a time, so you'll want to freeze several discs if you have a crowd. Also it doesn't shave the disc all the way down.
