I got this for my dog, mainly to keep it on him when I'm not home so he doesn't scratch a sore on himself because he has pretty itchy skin. I was using baby onesies but Oscar is small and can wiggle right out of them. Sizing chart is pretty accurate, I followed it and it fits him well. This is easy to get on and off, and it also has a little extra fabric area on the bottom around the private area in case of leaks. Pretty thoughtful and honestly handy, Oscar sometimes gets a little overexcited and dribbles, and that extra fabric has prevented it from leaking through and onto floors or furniture. Cleaning is pretty easy too, I just throw it in the washer and it comes out clean and hasn't stretched or otherwise weakened by pretty regular washing. That being said, I feel like it's made of a pretty decent fabric, so I'm not worried about it falling apart. Overall, I feel like it was money well spent.

I ordered a xl for my 65 pound German Shepherd for after her spay. It was easy to put on, however the suit was smaller than expected. If my girl was slightly any bigger this wouldn't of fit. The xl fits more like a small large or possibly even medium. But it got the job done, and my girl seemed rather comfortable in it.

Stretched out after one day as the material is cheap so she was able pretty much able to chew it off of herself (yes I measured dog prior to ordering). Not durable or washable. Very disappointed as it not only took forever to get here (due to Amazon not delivering on time) and then for it to be junk after 24 hours was a complete waste of money. Would recommend buying a better quality if purchasing for anything other than a cute pattern.

I would say to anyone that the back length is the most important measurement to consider when ordering. My dog’s back is 19.5” but her weight is only 37 lbs, so I ordered the size large (up to 40 lbs.). I should have ordered the extra large, even though the weight on the XL is between 40 and 66 lbs., because, as you can see from my pictures, the 1.5” in length of her back makes the whole thing too small. Being a tad too short on the back causes the garment to pull tightly between the two front legs when you pull it to attach the back pieces behind the back legs. I fear this pulling might cause irritation to her front “armpits.” You can see in the side angle photos that the garment pulls in order to fit the back, and you can also see that the Velcro in the back is not at the tightest, not even close. When you look at the full side view, however, you can see that it’s a little too big for her in the belly area, but the garment does have a belly strap to tighten that area up. I’m not taking any stars off because the product is good — and the Velcro is possibly the strongest Velcro I’ve ever encountered! — it’s just that my dog is just between sizes, apparently, which is not the products fault. I have ordered the extra large which should fit her better. Fingers crossed. Overall, I really like it, and covers her incision very well so that neither she nor her brother can lick at it while it’s healing.

Bought these for after spay surgery. Made rather cheap as I had to re sew a lot of the Velcro closures before their surgery. Used for about two weeks and they started coming apart. Glad I only wanted to use for post surgery.
