Such an awesome product! Comes with two collars that are fully adjustable and really great quality. Very durable. Very easy to use the different settings using the remote with a lock for the shock mode. Works well for training purpose and dog responds well to just the beeping. Has a light for nighttime use. The media could not be loaded. 4 Stars right now; I've only had the product a few days. I'll be back to update it in a month or so. Initial impression: It's a good product. Everything has worked as presented. Instruction manual is pretty good - there are a few places that could use some fixing but, you can figure out what is being communicated. Switching between collars is easy using the slide switch. Changing to the desired collar is almost instantaneous. Each collar can have the Tone/Vibrate/Shock preset to whatever levels you want. Adjusting is easy but not necessarily quick but, the process is effective overall. I really like the Shock Lock so you can't accidentally use it. I really like the two collars as I have two "wild animals" aka Welsh Terriers. Very high energy, very smart, very stubborn. One is a 5 1/2 yr. old female and the other a male puppy at 14 months. He has an issue with resource guarding: shows teeth, growls, sometimes a little nip; he also wants to attack anyone near his crate after he excitedly jumps in to go to bed - go figure; he growls when you want to pickup his empty dish after eating. I used the shock (on 3) twice: once to stop the growling/attacking from inside his crate and once to get him to give something he stole; intensity 1 and 2 were ignored; Vibrate and Tone were "laughed" at. The crate issue now only requires an occasional buzz on three or four and the "stop" command to end the problem, when it occurs. Good! Getting him to give something took a Shock on 3 tonight to get what he stole. That too is progress - it used to be a real fight. You should charge the receivers over night otherwise, depending on frequency of use, you may not have it when you need it. The Tone function for my dogs is just OK, maybe better for others. I have used this device on a walk with my puppy and the tone/buzz caused him to refocus and he began to heel better than ever. I will be trying it when he sees other dogs and turns into a shrew. Make a plan as to how you will use this - it can be abused. It should not be used to make your dog stop something without you being immediately ready to praise and reward the correct behavior. I noticed my puppy trying to run away, which I don't want, and so I quickly praised him and gave him love to let him know it's OK. If you do this right, you can begin to use just verbal commands and get the behavior you want. Yelling "no" at everything they do or don't do, just confuses them. Last, for my dogs, I try to hide the remote from view because, as I said, they are very smart - then can figure it out where the correction is coming from and can either run away when you pick it up; stop what they are doing until you put it down, then start again. Or, they can run from you when you want to put on their collar. Good luck.

I saw this new version of training collar and had to try it out. I have had the previous version and was very happy with so I wanted to see if this was better. There have been a few upgrades and a change I would not have made. The light has been moved to the front of the unit so it is MUCH easier to see it. The beep is much louder and changes patterns, so it’s easier to hear. The vibration is stronger as well. All of those changes are very very good! The one I don’t like so much is the power level adjustment. Before it was two button, up and down. Very easy to understand and adjust. The new version is a dial. You’d think that should be easy. But you press it down to change function. So you push down until you find the function you want to adjust, while it is in the down position you turn it up or down. If you don’t get it dialed to where you want it and have to lift your finger off, you have to push thru all the functions again to get to the right one. Now the vibrate and beep are easy, only 8 positions. The shock is 1-100. That takes at least 5 turns to get it to 100 from 0. That means lifting off the button going thru the functions and turning it again and repeat until your desired level. Not a good design feature. Overall I still say it’s a much improved version and I would gladly tell others about it. Happy training!!

This is my third recall Caller and by far this is the worst one. The other two worked great for at least a year, and I had to replace them because I lost the remote receiver. My first issue with this recall, Caller is that I can’t put it in my pocket. I have to carry a rope around my neck or tie it to my wrist because when I put it in my pocket it would accidentally move from the off position to the middle so I learned to not put it in my pocket. Did not want to risk shocking my dogs. It does have that shock lock on the far right side, but it does not lock it simply slide from side to side, making it all too easy for an accidental shock to happen. So this was my first issue, but I hung in there because I like certain features like the built-in flashlight. However, in a week collar fell off one of my dogs and a month later it fell off my second dog. When it fell off my first dog, I thought maybe I didn’t attach it properly or he was playing rough with his sibling. After that, I made sure that I locked the collar in place. Today after a hike in the woods, we got back and I find that my second dog does not have her collar. So this is a defect it should not be falling off. It’s so easily. I will never buy this one again and I don’t recommend it. It’s a complete waste of money if the collars don’t stay on.
