This is great for my reactive, freakishly strong staffy. (She's never left unattended, as she could get wrapped around too many things). We use this to throw toys and chase the water hose, etc. The lead and stake are bright and easy to see and very sturdy. Great for the price!

My 100 pound 2 year old pup broke the leash within a week. The stake is great, we would definetly buy it again for the stake but be careful with the leash, it did not hold for him. The other steaks were pulled out and dragged down the street but this one holds well. He is a big boy and loves to run...away.... I did purchase the one for a 200 pound dog knowing his strength.

So this seems to be strong enough to hold my pup. The last one we had (different company) she had bent the metal post from running after squirrels but this one seems so much more sturdy. My dog is only 51 pounds but she is so strong...so for us this works well.

Today my dog broke free when we were in the back yard. He does not like new people from trauma years ago before he was rescued. The neighbor came out of his house and my dog lunged toward him. The clasp where the cable connects to the spike in the ground completely sheared off and the dog tried to get at the neighbor. Luckily our niece was right next to our dog and was able to stop him from biting the neighbor. This was such a scary experience. Good spike, adequate cabling, TERRIBLE clasp.
