Really impressed with this. I like a mechanical gauge. It's quite accurate. The gauge only goes to 60psi and is rated for light passenger cars, bicycles, motorcycles, etc. I have a 2003 Nissan Frontier XE that takes 30psi cold. I used to consider my truck light and compact, maybe its not? My 1985 Nissan certainly was. The gauge without being powered, read exactly what my pencil gauges read (after rotation, inflation at Discount Tire), I would have kept this but my Trek Verve bicycle takes 60-80psi, after 60psi, I would need to inflate, pencil gauge; Also, this unit has a plastic lock lever that works in reverse of every other hand or foot pump, compressor I've used. The lever is really soft plastic that didn't seem durable and it had a sliver of plastic inside that made it difficult to remove. I could have used a small exacto or pocket knife to remove it but, with the 60psi limitation, I went with another brand priced similar. Still the best unit with the most accurate gauge of all the imitators, but couldn't overcome the 60psi limitation. 80dB a few inches away, up to 84dB an inch away. Really this is a great buy.

Edited Review - 11/09/2024: DO NOT PURCHASE! This will no longer power up. Can only get it to temporarily turn on when the power cord is manipulated where it connects to the 12V plug. And that only lasts a fraction of a second. Obviously poor quality where the wiring connects to the plug. No good means to repair it yourself due to the molded plastic. And naturally this occurs at 13 months of ownership, right after the warranty period expired (12 months). I used this probably 5 or six times during the year I owned it and now it's defective and I need to look for a better designed and better built product. AVOID! Original Review: I wanted something small to use when I didn't want to turn on my big compressor when I just need to top off a tire or 2. This works great for that purpose. Pros: The power cord is 10 feet long. I had a difficult time trying to find that information listed anywhere and I fell like that is really important for many people. Seems odd that the product description does not list that exact measurement. They just state "Long hose'. That is not helpful. The power cord is long enough to reach all tires on nearly all 'normal' sized passenger vehicles. It even reaches the rear tires on my F150 CrewCab. That was critical to have one with a long enough cord to reach those. I do have a 12v power socket for rear seat users, but the cord may actually be long enough to reach the front dash. I didn't test that since I knew the rear seat outlet would be the one I use for rear tires. The air hose is 2 feet long. At first I thought maybe that was too short, but if it were longer, the whole thing would be bulkier, so probably the right length. This unit is quieter than my older B&D Air station from the 80's. Cons: The gauge reads higher than actual pressure. To get a car tire inflated to 38 PSI means the gauge will need to read about 44-45. But as long as I now know roughly what the variance between gauge measurement vs the actual pressure, I can live with it. Overall I really like the price point (<$18) and the small size so you can take it with you. Even on a motorcycle (provided you a 12v socket to use).

This is my second one. It lasted around a year the first time with quite a bit of use. I don’t like going to gas stations because a lot of pumps are dirty and there are creepy people watching women fill their tires. This pump is so light and simple to use anywhere. It’s not extremely fast due to its size but for the price I feel it’s an essential item to have in my car! The first one still works except the attachment to the tire is stripped and won't seal now. The 2nd one won't even turn on after only one month so it's a lemon. I will try to return on manufacturers warrenty. Update: The manufacturer honored the warranty and immediately sent me a new one, no charge! It works fine so far!!! It is perfectly compact, has a flashlight on it, easy to use! I appreciate this company for making this!

So I've owned a number of these Slime pumps. The first one was all digital and it quit shutting off at the desired psi almost right away. That was not a good idea to have that running and could have possibly blown a tire ( not sure if the pump would be able to do that but it never shut off on its own.) . So Slime replaced it and I got the next tier up and it worked great for some years using it a few times here and there. Eventually it just starting reading some kind of error and no longer reads psi. So if you want to use the pump you have to hold the + button before and after you press the on button. It can take a few minutes to 10 minutes to fill a tire, so that get's old fast. Now I just ordered the analog pump, I think it will be a better pump in the long run and be less prone to errors / bugs. Time will tell. I always recommend to double check the psi when filling the tires just in case.
