  • Power on the Go: Ryobi Portable Tire Inflator Review
The Ryobi Portable Tire Inflator is a game-changer when it comes to convenience and versatility. With its portable design, digital gauge, and cordless operation, this inflator provides an efficient and hassle-free solution for maintaining proper tire pressure. Here's my review of the Ryobi Portable Tire Inflator, highlighting its impressive features and practicality. First and foremost, the portability of this tire inflator is a standout feature. Its compact and lightweight design allows for easy transportation, making it ideal for on-the-go use. Whether you're at home, on a road trip, or out on an adventure, this inflator provides peace of mind by ensuring you have a reliable solution for inflating tires wherever you may be. The inclusion of a digital gauge is a notable upgrade in the Ryobi Portable Tire Inflator. It provides accurate and precise readings of tire pressure, allowing for easy monitoring and inflation. The clear digital display eliminates the guesswork, ensuring you inflate your tires to the recommended levels for optimal safety and performance. This feature is especially beneficial for those who value precision in their tire maintenance routine. Operating the Ryobi Portable Tire Inflator is a breeze, thanks to its cordless design. Powered by an 18-volt battery, it offers freedom from tangled cords and the need for an external power source. Simply attach the inflator to the tire valve, set the desired pressure on the digital gauge, and let the inflator do its job. The convenience and ease of use make it a time-saving tool for quick inflation tasks. One aspect to consider is that the Ryobi Portable Tire Inflator may take longer to inflate larger tires due to its compact size and cordless operation. While it excels in portability and convenience, it may not be the most suitable option for heavy-duty tire inflation or industrial use. However, for regular car, bicycle, or recreational tire inflation needs, it performs admirably. In conclusion, the Ryobi Portable Tire Inflator offers a reliable and convenient solution for maintaining proper tire pressure on the go. Its portability, digital gauge, and cordless operation make it a valuable tool for quick and efficient tire inflation. Whether you're a frequent traveler, outdoor enthusiast, or simply want to ensure your tires are always properly inflated, this inflator is a worthy addition to your tool collection. Pros: 1. Portable design for on-the-go use. 2. Accurate digital gauge for precise tire pressure readings. 3. Cordless operation for hassle-free inflation. 4. Easy to use and operate. 5. Ideal for regular car, bicycle, and recreational tire inflation needs. Cons: - May take longer to inflate larger tires. - Not suitable for heavy-duty or industrial tire inflation. Power on the go with the Ryobi Portable Tire Inflator, and enjoy the convenience of reliable tire inflation wherever you are. Stay prepared for any adventure or daily commute by maintaining proper tire pressure with this efficient and portable tool. Experience the freedom of cordless operation and the peace of mind that comes with knowing your tires are in optimal condition. ... show more

  • A Great Addition to the Shop, Improved over the Last Version
I bought this inflator as a replacement for one I had for several years - so long I don't remember when I bought it. The first upgrade over my old one is the pressure gauge going digital instead of a swinging needle. The gauge is only useful when the power is on, it's electric after all, but both the old and new inflators are only showing pressure when attached to the tire or whatever you're inflating. It's not a big delay to attach the inflator and then tap the on/off switch. I've only used this one to pump up four tires, all 125 psi bike tires, which means small volume, high pressure. I used my old one on the bike tires hundreds of times, as well as car tires (high volume, low pressure, like 32 psi), boat trailer tires (high volume, medium pressure, like 55 psi), tires on dollies and other tools (low volume, low pressure) and anything else around the house. I never pumped up a football, basketball or other toys. It feels like an upgrade over the old inflator. Works faster and gets to pressure easily. My old pump used to take as long to get from 110 to 125 as it took to get from turn on (say 70 psi) to 110. Maybe the old one was failing slowly. I used to use a manual pump for 125 to 150 psi bike tires. No more. The old bike pump is in a corner, hoping I never need it again. The only knock I have against it is the same as on the previous one. There's no trigger guard or anything to keep your finger off the on/off switch. The big switch is in a place that I accidentally hit all the time. ... show more

  • I didn't know I needed this!
I got this for camping, but I've ended up using it all the time to top off my tires, filling pool floaties, and whatever. While I have an air compressor, its very convenient to grab the portable instead of running my air compressor. The digital gauge is very handy too, since I don't need to have an extra gauge when I'm using it. If you have Ryobi power tools, this is a must-have! ... show more

  • Wonderful
I didnt think it was going to work great but it does the only problem I have with it is you can't lock it to where you can turn it on and leave it on.

  • The best part is the portability of this. No wires or cigarette adapter to deal with.
Who needs a big air compressor for inflating tires when you have this? It made more sense for me because I already have 10 ryobi tools that use the same batteries, so I didn't have to shell out for more batteries which is a huge factor in my decision. The digital display is wonderful and backlit so it's easy to read in a dark place. ... show more

  • Saved me a lot of hassle
This air pump saved me from being stranded in my can when I got a flat. I had a patch kit but no spare and I was able to inflate the tire after patching and drove 100mi home. My only complaint would be I wish I could set a pressure and lock the trigger on
