This was a perfect replacement for the broken roller on the door of my Gentleman's Chest dresser. I'd been having issues with the door due to the fact that the height adjustment of one of my original rollers wasn't working, thus causing the door to not sit level and flush, and causing it to bind when trying to roll it back and forth to open up the shelving and drawers on the right side. (image included - not my dresser, but same model to illustrate that it has a sliding door) The bottom line is that it was a straight 1-1 replacement, I got the door adjusted, level and flush, and that's all there is to it. It worked perfectly for what I needed.

The media could not be loaded. I don't absolutely love this set up, but it did what i wanted it to do better and way more affordably than anything else i could find. Wanted to make a little slidey door for some cubbies i made for my kids. Roller bearings w tracks woulda be awesome, but not worth 60 bucks or more for a 16"x22" sliding door, esp when most tracks are 4 ft or longer. It's worth noting that the wheel doesn't move up and down alone, its within a box/housing inside the overall assembly, and that box is what moves up and down, which makes sense. I'd get these again for the same or similar application, unless i stumbled onto something really amazing. I looked around enough to know that there dont seem to be many options for this application.

The ABS plastic version, despite being marked "338" like my original 338 rollers which have metal housings, do not fit the pockets in the door. The product photo shows 13mm for the depth of the arched part of the housing on the upper slider. There is no corresponding marking on the arched part of the housing for the lower roller, so one assumes that it is the same (as it is on the original metal parts). The pockets on my door are about 12.5mm - 13mm deep. The depth of the arched part of the upper slider on this product is just over 13mm. The depth of the arched part of the lower roller on this product is 15mm! It is also too wide to fit the original pocket, but if it weren't too wide, there would be a 2mm gap between the flange and the back of the door!

My Ashley furniture cabinet was not using their sliding doors FOR YEARS because of the little pin that holds the door into the rail. It broke. One by one they did. I looked for them everywhere. I finally found it here. The measurements were correct and I was able to replace the old ones with these even with their old screws. Perhaps, a suggestion would be to sell them separately and not in pairs. I only needed the upper part, which holds the pins and not the bottom ones with the wheels.
