I originally ordered the 4200K, but it was just TOO white/sterile. Like more of a hospital light. These--the 3500K, are still bright enough to fully see what's cooking (I needed them to replace bulbs in an over-stove range hood), but aren't as harsh. They're a nice in-between what I'd consider a warm white and that brighter, more sterile white/cool light. And yes, I know the ad makes suggestions about what spectrum to get for what room, but until I saw it in concert with the other lighting in the kitchen, it was hard to tell which would work better. ... show more

The bulbs just fit the inside the Panasonic bathroom ventilator. The price is reasonable, hopefully they will last a few years. Finding suitable bulbs to fit is a problem that the manufacturer should attend to, because of design issues. Perhaps a new bulb cover could help, as a quarter inch of width makes all the difference. ... show more
