  • Excellent Budget PC
Style: 10400F | 1660
I've been building my own PCs since the days of i386's with math co-processors, so it was not an easy decision to buy a pre-built. My aging 2016 build of an AMD FX with a 960ti was not cutting the mustard anymore, so I started shopping and found the StarTech Blaze II. Having priced out a similar part list at Microcenter for $1800, it was a no-brainer money-wise to purchase this at a sub $900 price point. I figured I could at least use the parts for a budget build if it came in awful, but boy was I pleased with the purchase! Build came equipped with an AIO water cooler for the CPU, which was not listed in the specs and was a nice bonus. All components were of a decent quality and build, including a WD blue NVME drive, MSI pro 560 Wifi mobo, ThermalTake 600W PS and an EVGA 1660 6GB. Runs anything I throw at it on high to ultra settings, and is lightning fast as a productivity PC. Quiet as well, the AIO cooler really keeps it at a low level, which is nice for people like me that don't like headphones. Not a lot of room for upgrades. I was able to just barely finagle a 4tb storage drive in the open drive slot, and it looks like there's room for a 2.5" drive as well. It was able to accept a Windows 11 upgrade after a BIOS firmware update, so it is capable and runs very well in my limited experience with Win11. Magnetic dust filter is a nice touch, and the included keyboard and mouse aren't too bad, although I can see myself replacing the keyboard due to personal preference. Only one slight con that can be remedied with some YouTube knowledge: The ARGB fan lighting can only be controlled by the panel button on the case. With a bit of cable redirection it can be moved to a software controlled option through the motherboard. ... show more

  • Solid Gaming PC! Smooth, Fast, and Worth It
Style: 9700X | 5070
I’m really happy with this PC so far! It runs super smooth and plays everything I throw at it on ultra settings like Cyberpunk 2077, GTA, Fortnite, Apex, Fragpunk. All of them run great without any lag. The only thing is, when I first powered it on, the fans were so loud I thought the thing was about to take off like a rocket 😂. Luckily, I went into BIOS and switched them to silent mode and it’s been nice and quiet since. For the price, you’re definitely getting a lot of power here. No issues at all so far, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a solid prebuilt gaming PC. ... show more

  • UPDATE: $1,600 paperweight with no help from seller or manufacturer
Style: 10400F | 1660
We were very happy with this PC at first, but within a few days of use, realized that the HDMI ports were faulty. The monitor needs to be disconnected & reconnected at every reboot. The second HDMI port does not work at all. After several messages to the seller, we received a message saying that we should contact the manufacturer. After several emails to the manufacturer, we have yet to receive a response. We are extremely disappointed with the lack of action from the seller that took our money, as well as the lack of response from the manufacturer. I would not recommend this seller or manufacturer to anyone. ... show more

  • Great for a beginner gamer!
Style: 10400F | 1660
I ordered the blaze ii in July, 2022, as my very first gaming pc. It was scary placing the order but after reading the reviews I was willing to give it a shot. Boy what a win this was! It can handle war zone at high settings at 60 fps, back for blood at ultra settings no problem! I was blown away by the power of this machine! I ordered it for a steal at 990! If anyone is skeptical as I was, do yourself a favor and buy this pc! ... show more

  • Impressive
Style: 10400F | 1660
I received my Blaze II on Saturday July 30 2022. From Amazons warehouse Goodyear AZ. Since few if any have listed the HW these 'might' be comprised of, here's what mine is made up with. YMMV as these will have differing MB, RAM and video card manuf's parts included. This is what I received. Intel i5-10400F w/Stock Cooler MSi B560M PRO-VDH WIFI (CEC) (Note the CEC has four PCI-e x16. One is x16 electrically, three are x1) MSi GTX 1660 SUPER VENTUS XS OC (6GB model) WD Blue SN570 1TB SSD XPG GAMMIX D10 2x8GB DDR4 3200 CL16 16-20-20 Gamdias TALOS E1 Case and Gamdias Helios P1 600G PSU Combo After some fledgling hickups out of the box. I like it. Make sure to go into the BIOS under Security and 'Enable' TPM, else no Windows 11. It is a requirement to updating from Win10 to Win11. Install MSI Center, NOT Dragon Center, and from here install Mystic Light to control the RGB functions. While 'inside' MSI Center now would be as good as time as any to check and update to the latest system drivers(Intel, Realtec, WiFi, Bluetooth etc etc) plus any other drivers presented after letting it scan the system. Then head to nVidia for the latest Gaming or Studio graphic card drivers. Again, the above applie(s)(d) to the components that _I_ received in MY Blaze II and will most likely not be completely applicable to what YOU receive. But I like it. It's snappy and responsive. I consider it a great value. ... show more

  • TO Loud!!!!
Style: 9700X | 5070
While this PC seems to be performing well it is SO LOUD!!!! When I put my headphones one I can barely hear the game or my friends because the fans are incredibly loud. Save yourself a headache and don’t get this .

  • I'm impressed.
Style: 9700X | 5070
This computer is running absolutely amazing. arrived a few days early. Was simple to set up. Runs extremely quiet. The LEDs within come with fun and unexpected functions. Like matching the colors coming from my monitor which makes gaming or listening to music pretty neat. I'm running the Most graphics intensive games I've got on ultra settings and it's not even struggling at all. I'm impressed. I only wish it came with more internal hard drives/drive space, but it also has plenty of room to expand so I can do that part on my own. ... show more
