  • As advertised but...
As is clearly stated in the product description, what components you will receive may not be what is shown in the photos. Details of my example are: SSD is a Western Digital SATA. There is one extra slot for an other 2.5" drive but no provision for 3.5" drives. There is an M.2 slot available on the MB. Graphics card is a PNY 1660Ti. There are only 2 RAM slots, which is a bummer for me since I need to upgrade to 32GB so I can't use the single 8GB stick it came with. Wi-fi works well, but I'm in the same room as my router, so it's not much of a test. RGB on the case can be cycled through a bunch of solid colors and animations, it doesn't need to look like a disco if you don't want it to. ... show more

  • Not just for kids
My son who is 13 has been asking for a new computer to use for gaming as his old one became unable to play many games consistently. I teach cyber school also, so I figured we could have a computer to serve both purposes. I use it during the day for teaching school and my son uses it in the evening when he is home from school and we could not be happier. I can get my work done and he loves how fast and smooth the gameplay is. Going into this thinking I was getting a “mid-range” computer, this has exceeded both our expectations by far. ... show more

  • Really solid an affordable
I wasn't sure what to expect because I have had issues in the past with pre-made machines and I didn't realize the motherboard was going to be a micro but the machine is really pulling its weight. No hangups on games and very quiet. My other half is extremely happy as am I because we can now play games together without breaking the bank or needing to wait for video cards to end their madness. It was really easy to setup and worked the very first time we attempted to boot up. ... show more

  • PC works great, and I would recommend it!
I have had this PC for about 2 months now, and I really like it. With the GTX 1660 Ti graphics card, this PC is great for gaming and will deliver high frame rates. Additionally, I am able to easily edit photos and videos with various programs. I would recommend this PC for anyone who wants a mid-level build, as it is a good value for what you get. When I set up the PC, I was offered much help from the guide in the box if I needed it, so I like how supportive Skytech is. ... show more

  • Buy something else
Edit: July 2022. From the entire computer, I had to replace almost everything, including CMOS battery. The only part that I have not replaced since purchasing this PC is... the case. Which was damaged anyways when I sent the computer to them for repair. The power supply died yesterday, which was the last hardware piece from the original build. DO NOT buy this. Original post: Don't buy this. I was really excited about getting a great pre built PC. It worked well for a couple of months but then it started overheating and restarting all the time for no reason. I contacted support but they told me the repair time would be 5-6 weeks but when I received instructions/shipping label (which also takes up to 4 days) it said that it takes additional 8-16 days on top of that due to delayes. That's around 9 weeks without a PC. I decided to troubleshoot it myself and they agreed to help me with that, which I appreciated. It came down to extreme overheating even when idle. They sent me a new CPU cooler. Although they did not send me cleaners to remove the old thermal paste. I bought it myself. When swapping the coolers I was welcomed by melted silicone all over it... I told them what I found but they tried to tell me this is normal and the silicone is easy to remove. No it wasn't. It also completely melted into the cooler (causing overheating) and onto the brackets that hold the cooler nearly spilling on the motherboard. I had to replace the brackets as it was impossible to remove the silicone from it and I did not want any more melting silicone in my PC. The company claimed that the silicone protected the cooler during shipping but there was no note about it in instructions and also, if I were to remove the fan to take off the silicone UNDERNEATH IT, I'd have to assemble it back, which means cleaning the old thermal paste from the cooler and the CPU and applying new one... which is not something that is expected of a buyer of a pre built PC. The pre built computer is supposed to be fully assembled and should not require someone to break it apart and assemble again. Once that was done, I ran a system restore and the pc turned on. But not for long. It started resetting again over and over again without a warning after just a few hrs of running. I contacted support again and they told me to check the power and reset buttons. They were fine. After hours of trying to get the PC to run, it completely crapped out. It kept restarting over and over again even before the log in screen and restore, reset and any other recovery functions no longer worked. Then it started giving me the blue screens (attached). The ssd drive is completely corrupted and windows recovery is gone. I asked for replacements or a refund of the computer but was denied as they only cover it for 30 days or so. The PC was poorly assembled and built. This should not be happening to a brand new computer just a few months after purchase. There should not be any silicone around the CPU cooler. This is not worth the headache. Buy something else. I am going to keep demanding a refund or a full replacement asap. ... show more

  • Met my expectations
This computer is everything I expected it to be. Out of box it’s running really well, and playing every game I want! I was recommended to Skytech by one of my friends, and I would now recommend their builds to others in the future.

  • Doesn't support secure boot state
Can't upgrade to Windows 11 without secure boot state, which this micro atx motherboard does not support. Pros It has pretty led lights The case is good Decent cpu Cons Micro atx motherboard Can't run Windows 11 1 stick of a little bit of ram Not enough storage space Old gpu Overpriced This is not a good gaming pc for modern games.. The only original parts left in this $1000 pc is the case, the cpu, and the fans. I've had to upgrade the motherboard, graphics card, ram, and ssd all in the first year. It's the worst purchase I've ever made on Amazon. ... show more
