So far so good used it about three times. It definitely does the job. It’s unique and compact charges pretty quickly. I’m slightly concerned as to how long the shaver will last though. Doesn’t appear to be too cheaply made however it is kind of light so far so good over and out.

    • Good product but Warranty is worthless.

I give this product 4 stars because I have owned several over the years. This shaver had been a great product for about 10 months. When I was shaving in the shower, which is permitted under the product description and I have done for many years, the other day, all of the sudden the shaver quit working. I noticed that the battery percentage display was blank. I figured the battery had died and I waited until the unit dried and then plugged it into the charger the next day. When I checked it the next day it showed a full 100% charge. I got into the shower with it again and something didn’t sound right. It was a low humming sound. After turning the shaver off and on several times it eventually quit working again and the battery percentage display was blank again. I then proceeded to contact customer support because I knew that the shaver had a one year warranty. When the customer service representative emailed me back and I provided her with more information that they required about when I had made the purchase she responded with my options. These included: returning the unit at my cost through my choice of shippers and letting the company know what shipper I was using and then they would send me a replacement device. This could take several days or weeks. The next option was to purchase directly from the company a new device, I say this twice because from the sound of it it was just the motorized part of the product. Under this warranty option I could pay anywhere from $44.99 to $120.00 plus shipping and just keep the old devise that was not any good anymore and the warranty would start over for the new device once the invoice was paid in full. Not to mention the device would not be shipped until the invoice was paid so at the very least there would be a few days off of the new warranty while the device was in transit. The third option was to order a new device and pay anywhere invoice through the company, when I received the replacement and sent back the faulty device, once the faulty device was received I would receive a refund for the new device but the warranty on the new device would revert to the date of my original purchase. None of these options seemed very customer friendly. Needless to say I emailed the representative back and told her that I understood that none of this was her fault but that I was very disappointed in the Pit Bull company and that due to this lack of customer care I would be purchasing a different brand from now on. Businesses operating like this, without concern for their customers and shady tactics like poor warranty fulfillment is in my opinion part of the problem that we have in our country. As long as large companies like this are allowed to continue these deceptive practices the consumer will be the on getting the short end of the stick. ... show more

Should have bought this long ago. Had several cheap 7 head shavers that don't last. Spent more money and for good reason. This 4 head shaver is faster and closer than the 7! Way quieter too. Easer to clean when the whole assembly com es off for easy cleaning. No flipping one head over at a time and then dropping the center head in the toilet !! Hahaha. Works great. ... show more

    • Disappointing Upgrade — Poor Shave for the Price

I’m very disappointed in the Skull Shaver Pitbull Gold PRO GX5. For the price and the marketing behind it, I expected a close, smooth shave — but this shaver simply doesn’t deliver. It struggles to shave closely, especially on the face and neck, and the results are uneven and far from clean. I found myself going over the same areas repeatedly, and even then it never achieved the smooth finish I get from much cheaper models. I always had to clean everything up afterward with a full shave just to look presentable. What makes this even more frustrating is that I “upgraded” from a far less expensive brand, assuming this would be a noticeable improvement. Instead, the cheaper shaver actually performed better in every way — closer shave, more consistent results, and less irritation. The Pitbull Gold PRO GX5 didn’t meet expectations on any front. For something positioned as a premium head and face shaver, the performance just isn’t there. Between the lack of closeness, the uneven shave, and the overall disappointing results, I can’t justify the price or recommend this product. I do not recommend this shaver. ... show more
