I always had gas powered leaf blowers. So I didn't know if I would ever find a battery powered one that I would like. I had bought and returned the first two battery powered leaf blowers I purchased and then I got the Skil Leaf Blower and I liked it right away. Powerful and easy to use BUT the battery is always running out before the job is done. I would recommend getting a 2nd battery for it and they are not cheap. I do like not having to mix gas and oil together to run a blower but I can get the job done and more with my old gas blower. ... show more

It's annoying that we can't stick with one brand for all our tools and have batteries and chargers from different brands. But this blower blows the Ryobi out of the water. Nice and light; dries fast and and battery charges fast. I didn't realize while charging the battery it will make a loud fan spinning sound so beware. ... show more

I’ve returned a couple of battery powered blowers but this one is a keeper. It’s extremely powerful and has several power settings the lowest of which is acceptable for a wide variety of garden chores. There’s not a better value buy on the market.
