I already had an IPL, but decided to order this one because the product photos showed it would work with blond hair, plus I've been happy with prior SKG products. When this arrived, the first thing I noticed in the product paperwork was that this is NOT effective for blond hair. That was rather disappointing as my leg hair and my facial hair are all light blond. As of this writing, the product photos at the top still show it works with blond hair, but if you scroll deeper into the product description below, it does correctly state that it doesn't work for light blond hair. Total bummer. Initially, I decided to treat both my legs and arm pits, despite the fact that my leg hair is very blond. I knew from experience with my other IPL that it could still slow the hair growth and the regrowth would be softer. However, I only managed to stick with a couple weeks of treatment on my legs because it takes so very long to cover every inch of my leg. I managed to stick with my arm pit treatment longer since that is a pretty quick process. However, I ended up breaking up my treatment when I got sick and didn't feel well enough to make that a priority. So now I will need to restart treatment from the very beginning, meaning using at a greater frequency. I didn't get far enough along to expect no hair growth, but I did see a significant slowing of hair growth. Between my old IPL and this one, I definitely like this device better. I like the dual flash over the single flash, and this device is much more comfortable in my hand - which is especially important when covering large areas. This also requires less frequent use than my old one, I assume because the dual flash is more effective. As a result, I would recommend this IPL device - you just need to know in advance that it can be a long, tedious process with some limitations.

The media could not be loaded. I really like that this device is small and lightweight, which makes it perfect for traveling. It’s easy to use with just two buttons, one for power and one for the flash. There are small green LED lights to show the power level, which is helpful. I love that it has a continuous flashing mode, so I don't have to press the flash button over and over again. The instructions are very easy to follow, so I understood how to use it right away. After using it for a few weeks, I started to see results. My hair became much thinner, and the areas I treated are much smoother. It’s not painful at all, which is great for people who might be worried about discomfort. Another plus is that it’s really fast, I can treat a large area in just about 15 to 25 minutes. It does get a little hot so when it does, I let it rest for few minutes and then repeat the process.

It is hard to review this as it takes so long yo see results. Currently I am 4 weeks ish into use and I can definitely say my hair regrowth has slowed on my legs and bikini line. I have also been using it on my face (dang perimenopause chin hairs) and it doesn't seem to have made any difference there at all. I want yo try doing my armpits but it all feels like a lot of work. It is comfortable to use for the most part. Some areas feel hotter than others- my chin feels really hot when using this. It's pretty easy and not as time consuming as you might think so long as you are focusing on one area at a time. All in I think I need more weeks to know if it's going to work well enough yo have been worth the effort.

I've used this consistently for 4 weeks so far and I'm not really sure it's doing anything. The device is functioning and it seems to be working correctly (bright light pulse), but I haven't seen any dramatic results yet and I have the exact skin/hair colors that should be performing the best. I'll continue to use it to see over time since it does recommend 8 weeks, but I just expected more by now

This is a great price for a home model IPL and it is even on a super sale right now making it an even better deal. I have lighter skin and brunette hair so these usually work well on me. This one seems to be taking a little longer to keep the hair from growing back. It does seem like a lot of work but I will keep at it and hope it gets rid of the hairs for good.

like any laser removal tool the key to it it’s constancy. And in this particular case you’ll see changes really quickly, but like I said, you have to be constant with your sessions. As a man one of the places I’ve hated to have hair it’s on my neck line since many times I feel those pesky little hairs seeking out of my shirts and I feel really uncomfortable. So when I started using this hair removal device, I wasn’t using it every single week, but maybe once a month. But since I started using it every week or two, I saw the change immediately. And a good thing is my skin has an irritated at all, and I don’t have anymore hairs on the back of my neck. I’ve actually tried to deferent areas of my body and have seen different results, which makes me to believe that it all depends on the intensity of the treatment and also the place where the hair is growing. Either way it’s a good product for anyone to use.
