Directions were not clear; but I was able to figure out how to use the device. As for results, I haven’t noticed any less hair. Only used for a month so far. If doing a large area, some positions are a little uncomfortable and awkward. I expected but did not feel any pain associated with use.

This is my second IPL device, and in my opinion, it works just the same as the name brand. It does take time for results to occur, which can be really frustrating when you're trying to stay consistent with using a device. it almost makes you want to give up. For safety, it's super important to follow the instructions completely. You don't want to look at the light. It is very easy to use, the instructions are very easy to follow. I started with one area of my body and will move on to the next area whenever I start seeing results. I don't think this works well in areas with more coarse hair, but that's just my opinion. I'll need to come back and update whenever the hair actually goes away, but as far as using the machine itself, it's been easy. We'll see how it goes with the hair removal over time, though!
