I have been using this product consistently for 3 weeks now and can only say positive things. I want to preface by saying I am not a bot or a paid review, I bought this of my own free will with my own money 100%. I want to start by saying my only regret is not purchasing this sooner. For years I struggled with bad ingrown hairs, rapid hair regrowth and a hesitancy to go to a salon for laser removal. I was skeptical of DIY at home IPL devices and also afraid of pain but decided to bite the bullet. For 3 weeks now I have used this 3-4 times per week on armpits, legs and bikini area. I started off on a lower setting and gradually increased to full power (setting 6). The pain is very minimal and really doesn’t bother me at all. The cooling feature also helps a lot. It’s pretty self explanatory to use but I watched some YouTube videos first just to be sure I was doing it correctly. After 3 weeks I notice that there are no more unsightly ingrowns on the bikini area and the growth is significantly reduced. Legs have significantly stopped growing hair to about 80-90% level of reduction. Armpits needs a bit a more work but I notice a difference there too If you are tired of ingrown hairs, shaving, waxing and pain but don’t want to deal with the cost, time and embarrassment of going to a stranger for salon laser services then I highly recommend this device ... show more

I’ve been using Jovs hair removal for 6 months now. I was very consistent using it every other day and it took about 3-4 weeks to see results. But… It works!! I no longer have underarm hair and my bikini line is perfect with no more rashes or ingrown hair irritation. My legs are smooth and no longer prickly. I’m extremely satisfied and highly recommend this product if you’re looking for hair removal. Also works great on scars, which is a bonus for sure!!! It turns out that this works, even though I honestly thought I would have to return it because I was so doubtful it would! I spent a lot of time reading these reviews before making a purchase. I would add that at first, I couldn't notice a difference despite committing to taking it at least twice a week, but after a month, I could certainly see benefits. After four weeks, I have no hair on my underarms and less than 10% of my hair is still in my bikini line. I bought this item in order to touch up my legs and bikini area that I had previous ply treated at the salon. But I wanted to really prove myself that the product is valid so I tested it la seeing my armpit area where I always only shaved and waxed in my past and…it works!! After about 5 weeks I already have very few hair and they grow so slowly! I 100% recommend this product…may be pricey but u save money in the long run compared to salon treatments! I would recommend to get some glasses just because if you laser for and extended period of time the flash may start to bother you. Meanwhile cooling gel is not recommended by the booklet that comes with the machine. I bought it thinking I needed it but I just wasted my money. I wouldn’t say it hurts, you feel a very warm sensation especially in areas where the skin is less thick and where hairs are a little bit more it may sting a little but is totally bearable. I had 3 years of full body laser hair removal on the most powerful machines and did laser consistently for that entire time. While most my body grows no hair. My face, arms and bikini grow 10x the amount of hair they ever did. Very thick hair. I bought this in December, I followed the instruction and first started on a level 3- 3 days a week. A week later I did a level 4 two days a week. I’m now into one month in. And I will say this that’s it’s workingGREAT for me!! I haven’t grown any hair on my face or arms so far. I see less hair on bikini area. Only thing I will say is that the product states it’s 19j max but on the item description they have stated 22j’s probably a marketing gimmick because there is no machines with that high of a power.
