These bad boys look and just feel like their gonna dump. To late to through in my car but will post video tomorrow just wiring them for 2 ohm load and gonna through them in the box. May need bigger box than what I have but I'll get an idea tomorrow . And on the ohm meter they hold 1.9 2.0 which is better than most as some jump around a few points but they stay steady. Also had to do a few modifications to the box for them to fit. Built 2 separate boxes for then to the specs they call for and damn the dump. I'm lacking 800 watts although waiting for my big amp to show up. Currently they are on a jl audio jx1000 d ... show more

The zvx is slightly taller and its magnet is also a slight wider other than the evl. personally I like how these subwoofers look... these are truly little monster right here ! Price and quality can't beat it ! Running the zvx on power acoustic 2500 at about 750-850at 1 ohm more than enough for this little hammer ! ... show more

I am an individual that tries to use the very best and I decided to install 8" subs in my new car. The Sundown were over 300/sub while Skar was around 160/sub. Figured I try them out and please understand it's simply my opinion but, I'm hitting these with a constant 1500+ Watts and they were so worth the gamble.
