First off I have to say that all the negative reviews on here are only one of two things.. dust cap coming off or shipping damage/ error. Haven't seen any negative feedback about performance because there is none... I have owned 1 of these Subs for 2 years now... yes my dust cap came loose within the first month or so but I just simply glued it back on. After researching (asking Google), I bought the glue they use, which cost $8 on Amazon, and I haven't had any issues since... This sub is a beast. The amplifier I'm using is a Taramp smart 3K. It's an awesome amp for the price; just watch Willison Audio Labs on YouTube... I also have a lc2i line output converter to help with the base "roll off"... I think the subwoofer enclosure I have is too small, not enough air space for the sub... which is why I'm here writing this review. I'm contemplating getting another sub and buying a two-sub enclosure. I can only imagine what two of these are going to sound like. If I remember I'll give an update in the future All in all, I am very pleased with this sub and I would recommend it to anyone. ... show more

The first batch of these I ordered was taken before I got my hands on them, so I ordered 3 again, with the 3 sub box from star, they do not bit in the box if anyone is curious , so I mounted them face down, which in my opinion looked awesome however slightly freakish, no one would have known they were so good if it hadn't been the fact that with them bolted to the back doors of a suburban they Cracked my windshield at 25% with the windows down paired with the 4500W Amp from skar, they were wired in a 1.33 ohm config powered by 2 mechman alternators, 7 optima batteries and 1/0 to each battery from the alts .. I don't like caps, instead I would like to have the power available for everything. However one of my door switches got vibrated loose and an acquaintance who I had considered close was a little too close, close enough to steal all of it, and at the time I had recently had everything stolen from me 2 years prior when my land lord had illegally filed an eviction which was overturned 2 months later, so in those two years I had struggled for stability, and this was the cherry on top, point being... if you don't have your security on your vehicle reinforced and vibration proofed, then don't invest in these just yet, and if you max them with the Amp, your windows will hate you. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The dust cap came off four times they sent me four different subwoofer they still came off I had to buy some dust cap glue and do it myself. Subwoofer 1500 rms Dust cape can only take 800 RMS. Y’all go cheak out the EVL Siri’s still happens. I have three friends with SDR series and their dustcaps never came off the SDR Series are the best dust caps. But the top series the ZVX don’t have it ... show more

for the price point these subs are great. yes there are higher end brands, but you get your monies wort from these, pushing 2 of them and 1ohm on 3000rms or 1500rms on each one and they are not even breaking a sweat. sitting behind the seat of a double cab pickup truck is plenty loud. can be heard over a block away. was beating these things while wife was in a store shopping and she said she could hear them loud and clear. make sure you have proper airspace and the right amount of power and you are golden. ... show more
