So far so good. I have these in a small, ported, (0.8 cubic ft) under seat box. Being pushed by a T1000-CP Rockford Fosgate amp. I have the amp about 3/4 of the way up for now and they slam. They sound so much better than the shallow fosgate 10's I had. I will definitely buy other Skar subs after this. ... show more

Installed in the factory box on a 2024 Ford Mustang GT. Took some trimming of the factory box but it will fit. Weather stripping under the edges to help seal and sounds AMAZING for a factory radio. Well worth the money and will be even better with an amp and a Skar box.

    • great budget subs with small issues

first things first, my first pair had a short in one of the voice coils which ended up causing a failure immediately. i replaced my amp and both subwoofers to be safe. the second pair was perfect. these do fit a little tighter than the other brands i have used. it was much harder to seat the woofers in the box. the rubber guard around the edge of the woofers don't line up perfectly with the screw holes and the screw holes are also closer to the inside edge of the cutout on the enclosure I RECCOMEND USING A MULTIMETER to check your resistance every step of the install procedure. my amp is capable of 1ohm load and it cut it close when i had finished my install. once i verified my resistance and carefully installed in my truck i tuned the amp and tested them out, for a low profile shallow mount sub they hit pretty hard even before broken in. my whole audio system minus my head unit and wiring in skar and im very pleased. i will update after they are broken in and i can actually test the peak performance. ... show more

I have a 67 Chevelle. I wanted to keep as much trunk space as possible. So I went with these 2- 10" Skar audio shallow subwoofers. I built some custom boxes to fit on the quarter panel side of the trunk. I was very impressed with the sound from these small speakers in a sealed inclosure and the price was great. Thing does great I’ve had it since June and have been pushing it on 700 watts rms easy and it moves best shallow mount for the price no major mechanical noise at all I have it on a 1500 watt rms amp but the gain is set about 1/4 of the way

speakers are amazing i just couldn't quite fit them on 2016 Toyota tundra crew rear seat slim box, had to modify. over all price and sound quality it hits harder. easy to install and durability, they can take a punch.
