I bought this unit, another Pioneer Amp, and 4 new high end door speakers to go in my 2015 Subaru Impreza and I am seriously glad that I did my research on SKAR as well as this product. Let me just say that at first I was a bit hesitant about whether or not the 8's would provide the umph and sound I was desiring. I am not disappointed. I am not a kid and could care less about shaking the windows and impressing girls. However, this seems to do both regardless. I actually prefer the sound of having three 8" subs as I think the musicality of the lower range notes come in much more accurately and just plain pleasant over 12" or 15"subs. I paid too much money to have my entire system installed as its's not an endeavor I wished to take on, but I am seriously very happy now that its broken in and used all the time. The box fits nicely in the back of my Subie with room to spare. My Amps are mounted securely behind my rear seats and the sub-level knob was placed in a convenient spot under my dash. SKAR has seriously stepped their game up and is offering high-end products at a mid-range price-point. Kudos to them! This was a great investment and I couldn't be happier. ... show more

Purchased this package and paid bestbuy 175$ to install properly due to wanting the best experience with my system as possible… just a little disappointed because they made this package and even stated that the amplifier is perfectly powered to run this setup… when in fact it is not, you need much more power for this setup then the amp provides, if you listen at full volume for more then 15-20 minutes the amp gets ridiculously hot and goes into protective mode and won’t power the subs anymore…. As well as this problem and the fact they falsely advertise this as 2100w when the amp only has a peak power of 1200w to me is just a big con… why sell a premier package as a leading brand in car audio such as skar misleading customers with good money to buy something that you know isn’t going to work…. Shame on skar for this one…. I had high hopes and expectations from one of the best in the business I also entrusted them to provide me with what it was I needed for my setup… moneys not the issue, I could’ve spent my money on the biggest baddest amp… and would’ve had I known the one that came with the speakers wasn’t going to cut it… now I have to pay to have it taken out, and pay to have another bigger amplifier installed… plus original labor fees, this BS cost me an extra ~500$ I never had to spend had they let me know ahead of time I needed more power then they provided…. All and all the speakers sound nice, knowing what I know now they could probably sound a lot better with a better amplifier…. And I also could actually enjoy listening to them without them overheating and turning off…. I recommend just buying the subwoofers… buy your own amp, a much larger one then suggested by skar… ~2000watts I would suggest for this setup… thanks skar for the extra 500$ I gotta spend because your lack of integrity to have the old taken out and the new put back in after already paying once to install the original purchase…. This Should come good enough to play with no problems hence why it’s a package deal… shame shame ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I’ve had all different kinds of subwoofers and amplifiers over the years and I must say Skar audio is the best bang for the buck out there. I’ve had to Skar audio 12 inch subwoofers and an ohm Skar amp in my truck for three years with zero issues so I knew it had to be Skar for my daughter also. I bought these for her birthday and we installed them in her challenger. I used the kicker line out converter which worked perfectly and has a remote turn on which simplifies installation. The packaging was very sturdy, I work at FedEx so I know what these packages go through and Skar audio has done a great job of protecting their product during shipment. The video doesn’t do the subwoofers justice. The distortion you can hear in the video is actually the trunk and spoiler of the car rattling. We ended up installing about 15 pounds of sound deadening mat to reduce this. Hard to believe that 3 8” inch subwoofers can produce this much bass! Now my wife wants some for her Durango. ... show more

Popping! Love this thing. Puts out some good bass. Not too much where it hurts your ears or chest but does thump! Also love the shape. Easy install if I didn't have to run all the wiring! 😄

The sound overall is amazing my Ford Flex shakes and it shakes my house if its all the way up and in the garage. The price was decent I looked after i purchased and the website was having discounts on everything and I could’ve got it $100 less but it still is lower than normal retail. I read the reviews and thought for the price I would give it a shot. Look of the product was good. Build quality seems to be good. Sound is what you would expect for that price of system. If you are looking for better quality sound then stick with the higher end stuff. These are very basic and low quality sound. The media could not be loaded. I bought this to put in my 2017 Ford Fusion and it fit with plenty of room left in the trunk so it’s a smaller system but the quality is great! Very loud but you can still hear the song over the bass and it rattles my entire car. *I have the bass knob at a little less than 3/4 so it definitely could hit harder if you want it to* ... show more
