I have a Cadillac CTS Sport “WoOF” Wagon. This fit perfectly in the back and was able to use my retractable cover to hide this BEASTiE THiNG. I had a Kicker 12” Ported Subwoofer before this. I should have switched to this 12 inch SKAR Subwoofer a long time ago. SLAPPED WAY harder than my Kicker 12” VCVR122. I have a Zapco ST-500XMii. Compared SKAR 12 inch SK12TBV Sub & the Kicker 12” VCVR122 side by side, paired with the Zapco amp. SKAR OMG! Good Heavens! Sock Me Sideways! It has definitely left me SKAR. Made the hair on my arms stand up, gave me chills and kept multiplying. GEeZ. If you have room. Get this and it will have you shaken like a Polaroid picture. Peace Out Kicker. ... show more

I wanted to make this work for me. I love the cost, look and size of it. It does sound good! On the freeway with the windows down it is kinda soft for me, couldnt feel it anymore. May be better if it is bolted to the body but. Based on that I realized 400 watts wasnt enough for me, so I ended up going with a 2 8"1600 watt setup. If you are basing your purchase strickly on size this could work. If you listen to hip hop and you want deep vibrating bass, stuff as many watts as you can in the space. ... show more

I’ve setup so many sound systems in my day and this is by far the best. I’m a dad now, so I need the trunk space but I still want my beats. I needed an 800 rms tube but Skar only makes this one. So I also purchased a Skar SVR-12 D2 12" 1600 Watt Max Dual 2 Ohm and swapped the subs out. I mean wow! Needs a short break-in period to loosen up and then blamo!!! No fitting of any kind needed to drop in the SVR. I’d make the wires inside a little longer in the tube though, just for your sanity. Sold the removed 400w rms Skar sub as new and away we go! ... show more

After first having a 12" pioneer downfiring sub for shallow enclosures and then a 12-in square Solo-Baric kicker I thought this is about as good as it gets in a Infiniti having a hybrid battery that spans the whole backseat. After trying this 10" Skar and thinking a tube could never compare, I was gladly mistaken! This boy hits hard and deep. No competition type bass but enough that you feel it even at low volumes. Very filling sound. Now interested in what a 12" or 15" could offer. ... show more
