Size: Single 10" D2 Package With Amplifier
Sooooo worth every penny spent!! I got the skar sdr 10" bass package with the 800w rms skar amp and let me just say my expectations were just completely blown away (pun intended 😆🤘) ... I'm 34 and I consider myself a bit of a budget building expert considering I've used and experienced MANY budget brands over the years and also have plenty of experience with quality brands as well to compare to, that all being said I truly did not expect this little 600w rms "entry level" 10" sub to perform THIS amazing and while EVERYONE loves to give the ol' claim that "their 10" sub hits like 2 12" subs etc." I TRULY mean this; this single 10" in my 2015 malibu ls hits like 2 quality budget 12" subs, and in fact, it hits in the 30hz+ range harder than my old single 12" sundown that was ruining on1200w rms or my old 2 12" alpine type s subs running off that same 1200w rms amp... I really don't understand why everyone hates on skar so much, this was my first experience with them and I was sooo pleased with my experience that I literally came here to write this after just now purchasing their loaded 12" sdr sub and enclosure to upgrade from the 10" but only because I want deeper lows and the 12"s frequency response is 22hz vs 30hz for the 10" ... show more

  • Absolutely buy it
Size: Single 8" D2 Loaded Enclosure with Amplifier
Everything it was cracked up to be and more. I put this package in my wife’s crossover and have it turned about halfway up and it will rattle the windows. I am blown away that this is coming from one 8 inch subwoofer. Would absolutely recommend for anybody.

  • Once ya age...
Size: Single 10" D2 Package With Amplifier
In my day, I used to enter dB drags, etc, always building up better sound, or building up something that rattles the bumper off. This WAS the 90s! It's definitely easier to build some better sound today. Hooking up to factory headunit back then was a nightmare lol It's common place now, the all-in-ones, etc I still like good music, and I like to feel it too! This is the 1st time going dedicated amp/sub combo in probably 15yrs. My system is all upgraded mildly and kept stealth to retain the factory look. But it needed more! The sub in the stock location and factory Amp just weren't cutting it anymore. In my day everyone had a favorite, whether it was a good or bad brand. I've spent a year researching deciding if I wanted to take up the space with a box, as I do work out of my truck, so I looked at all the option like underseat, tunes, etc. I've read the reviews all over on Skar, and decided this combo would be the right way to go. I wasn't going for top-tier, brand or sound, I just needed to fill in the blanks on the sound. I'm so glad I did! It's been delivered for 3 weeks already lol, I contemplated returning it before the deadline. Even this morning as I was just feeling lazy and not motivated to tear up the truck. Felicitously it was nice out, I had the day off and I got it done (even did a new headunit!) I wish I put it in 3 weeks ago! It's the right amount of added boost. I see a lot of "break-in" comments and as such I didn't beat on it and don't plan too. I jammed some EDM, Trap/Dubstep, and a little 90s Country. With the bass knob you can really adjust it to each genre! YES, it does come with a bass knob! There are no images of it, or mention, and I was skeptical because only a couple say yes in the "questions". Indeed it does. That's the game changer for this setup! Everything hit without over excursion for each genre BECAUSE YOU CAN ADJUST IT So here's the take, if you want more punch, and if you are willing to sacrifice a little space, get this. It put a smile on my face. I took my dog for a ride too because she's cool like that, and she digs it! It was like showing off to your date back in high-school lmao! You can feel this lil system in the driver's seat. And it's not obnoxious from the outside. I have a 17yr old truck and it only rattled the license plate, not all the rust off (unfortunate, I was really hopeful!) Gain is about ½, boost +12, sub 0 It's not plug-n-play, you do need a little know-how, but on a 1-10 it MIGHT be a 6. Definitely a hard 5. Hardest part is probably getting power cable thru fire wall. Vehicles are just snapped together nowadays so run ing the wires in the cabin is easy. Getting behind the headunit for the RCAs is probably 2nd when it comes to difficulty, depend on what you drive. If you have a shop in town that'll install owner equipment, it's probably not to bad of a price because this install is cakewalk to the professional. Getting a smile while driving is proof this was a worthy spend... There's always "a chance" you get crap when you buy stuff today, but I'm satisfied. Obviously, I will update this review as time progresses if I still feel this way.. or not! ... show more

  • Wire management
Size: Single 10" D2 Package With Amplifier
Amazing system for starters, put this in a stock 1996 Jeep Cherokee XJ and it fits perfectly in the hatchback and makes a nice sound and is loud without distortion or shaking the whole vehicle. Would recommend!

  • Mostly WAY better than expected!
Size: Single 10" D2 Package With Amplifier
Installation was relatively easy, coming from someone that has done some other personal car audio installs back in the 90's. The kit come with everything you need, INCLUDING the little remote bass knob that is being sold separately. It is not in the product photos, so I ordered it, and ended up sending it back. Not really a big deal since Amazon is good with returns. Just be aware, it's in the package. Pros: Great sound, easy setup and adjustment, all the pieces you need are included. Cons: Included Wires - The remote turn on wire is terrible. I stripped the wire many times and would lose half of the copper even with a perfectly sized stripper. I had to be so careful and strip this wire with an exacto knife to keep them intact. The speaker wires were marginally better, again I hade to be very careful. The power wire is also a little too short for a one size fits all. I installed this in a Mazda 6 and it barely reach the location I chose to put the amp. Another 12-24" would have been great for more flexibility of mounting locations. All in all, this is a great setup for those on a budget that want their car to do some boom bangin'! You won't win any audio shows, but you'll put a smile on your own face and that's really what counts. ... show more

  • No good

The amplifier is ok but the 10inch subwoofer burnt up after only 4 days had to buy a kicker subwoofer for 150 dollars. The box the subwoofer came in is still good.

  • Great sound. I can feel the bass!
Size: Single 10" D2 Package With Amplifier
I got this with a lc2 line converter and it sounds amazing in my Accord 2020. Sound is so good, I'm dragging my feet to replace the components. Super satisfied so far. You can really feel the bass without pissing off the whole block. I had this professionally installed as well. So month or so later... This thing still knocks and I'm still happy as hell I got this. I only wished I could maybe have gotten the 12in version. But I'm happy right now with this in my 2020 Accord Sport. ... show more
