Description

The Skar Audio SDR-12 D2 12" Dual 2-ohm subwoofer was engineered to dish out reliable, hard hitting, and low spectrum sound. Featuring a high flux ferrite motor, This woofer will provide extreme power handling for extended periods of time. The SDR series will quickly become a customer favorite, as it's perfect for people just entering the world of car audio all the way up to seasoned pros. The SDR-12 Dual 2-ohm 12-inch car subwoofer features a 2.5” high temperature 4-layer high temperature copper voice coil that is attached to our Skar Audio signature red spider. The surround on the SDR series is a high roll foam surround which allows the woofer to produce riveting low end bass response. The SDR series has a max power rating of 1, 200 watts and a RMS power rating of 600 watts. Sensitivity (SPL): 84.7 dB, mix: 13.5mm one-way, Fs: 32 Hz, frequency response: 22 Hz- 300 Hz, mounting depth: 7.62".

This 12" SDR 1200 watt max 600 watt normal power subwoofer by Skar is amazing. It's the second one I've ordered here from Amazon. The price is not bad and it arrived on time and in great shape. Definitely worth the money especially if your on a budget and want a sub that can get deep. If my video shows, this is the SDR dual 2 ohm sub wired to 4 ohms to work in my Polk audio home theater sub box. It really is a nice addition to the deep rumble and movies and TV shows. I bought 2 of these subs with a matching 1200 watt skar audio amp, I did all my research had my buddy help me install everything who is a professional, I’ve read so many reviews on skar audio and how it’s suppose to be the best so I thought I’d give it a try, I’ve had them for 3 weeks and I was still breaking them in I never turned up the amp past halfway and the bass boost was on 0 always, one of the subs has already blown, I’m so disappointed and in disbelief, it didn’t even last 3 weeks, they sounded amazing up until then. Really hoping something can be done because that’s over $100 down the drain if not, I was really hoping I would be pleased with these because they sounded good and had amazing reviews but after this I’m kinda wishing I never sold my Orion’s... ... show more
