Description

The Skar Audio SDR-10 D2 10" Dual 2-ohm subwoofer was engineered to dish out reliable, hard hitting, and low spectrum sound. Featuring a high flux ferrite motor, This woofer will provide extreme power handling for extended periods of time. The SDR series will quickly become a customer favorite, as it's perfect for people just entering the world of car audio all the way up to seasoned pros. The SDR-10 Dual 2-ohm 10-inch car subwoofer features a 2.5” high temperature 4-layer high temperature copper voice coil that is attached to our Skar Audio signature red spider. The surround on the SDR series is a high roll foam surround which allows the woofer to produce riveting low end bass response. The SDR series has a max power rating of 1, 200 watts and a RMS power rating of 600 watts. Sensitivity (SPL): 82.0 dB, mix: 13.5mm one-way, Fs: 39 Hz, frequency response: 28 Hz - 300 Hz, mounting depth: 6.08".

Really heavy duty, well built sub, for the price. Handles Rated RMS. Sounds good, Its not Jl-Audio, But its really good for the price. Best sub in my opinion for under hundred dollars. This has nothing to do with the subwoofer itself. but the Only thing I didn't like was the Skar Warehouse is literally 25 minutes from me. But this subwoofer shipped from TEXAS, when it could have shipped from 15 miles away. Seems like such a waste of resources shipping this subwoofer to amazon warehouse in Texas, from the warehouse 15 miles away, Then, shipping it to me, It traveled over 2400 miles to make a 15mile trip. Well, its US trip at least. You would think they be a better way to handle shipping. Hopefully they were just out at the other distribution centers, I hate to think this is how it usually works. Still in the break in process but so far one of these 10’s is out pounding my previous system of two mtx terminator 12’s... Hooked up to a a Rockford fosgate R2 500 x1 wired to 1ohm Head unit set to -15 sub gain Amp gain low for break in process I’m already impressed... It’s bouncing my mirror dice... 😎 at low gain 😳😂 Definitely recommend Skar. Everything seems to be made of good quality materials. 18 years car audio and this has been the best bang for my buck yet... the box they sell is perfectly matched and tuned... not just an ACME sub box... it’s quality... and it’s compact enough so it doesn’t take up my whole cargo area... Skar has made a fan outta me 😎 Can’t wait till I can turn em up 😁 ... show more

My Second one, Dont push it to much. But works good for rock and some rap, just be careful to not blow it. Cause they will blow somewhat easy, and make sure to break it. But still keep that bass knob lows.

People give skar a bad rap but I LOVE this sud and no im not some skar fan boy i have many other subs but like Kicker, Sundown, Orion, CT sounds, Dayton Audio, and more and i still love this sdr 10. The setup is easy it works VERY well in a well tuned box got down to 28hz at 128.68db( now i have a 3 skar evl 12s.) and one time a friend of mine lent me a bigger amp and i accidentally gave the sdr-10-d2 2100w rms for like 2 minutes of a song with out realizing until, i started smelling the glue, than i saw the meter and shat myself👌🏾. After this i was fine, no coil rub, no cone distortion, no nothing it was just fine.👍 Skar audio, good job with this one!👍 Ended up giving the sub a tuned box i made to a friend he still uses it to this day! ... show more

Bought a pair of 10’s for my sons 350 z with the special 350z speaker box. Paired it up to a skar amp that I had purchased for my Jeep. Double din pioneer head unit pushing it with a capacitor also. Originally didn’t like it as it hit weird. Did the break in process and wasn’t impressed with my first skar experience but found it was the amps fault cutting out . Went from 4 gauge coming in down to 0 gauge and blew the box apart lol. These will sound great in the right box. The magnet is huge and the box needs depth as these speakers have length. The custom 350z under the bar boxes need shallow speakers but not wanting to give these up we went with a better box built for these and I believe he will shatter his back glass with these speakers and skar amp.
