I bought 2 of these for my 2002 Mazda Miata which came stock with some Bose speakers. They might’ve sounded good some time in the past, but I just simply couldn’t get them to no matter what I did. I got a new, nice, double DIN Apple car play head unit, and 2 of these speakers and WOW. The difference is so incredible. Such value for your money. They screwed right in, and I messed with the audio a bit on the head unit, then bam. Top down, over my exhaust and turbo noises, I can still clearly hear the music. Full blast with any song, and they won’t seem to break up in audio no matter how I push them. I certainly plan to get an amp soon, and I know for sure these will do even better! These speakers are super well built, as well. Nice and hefty, well built pieces of equipment. You really really get more than you pay for, I promise! I’ve bought speakers twice the price for my last Miata, and these are just simply better. I promise it’s worth taking my word for it! ... show more

Way better than some speakers that cost twice as much or more. Way better than even stock Mercedes speakers. Great frequency response! High quality drivers that produce very nice low end. You won't be disappointed. These should sell for much more! A+++

Put these in my 1999 Miata (NB1) with the Bose system and WOW they made a huge difference. Bolted right up, super simple and easy. If you’re worried about the .5 ohm Bose speakers vs the 4 ohm speaker in this listing, don’t be.
