Major upgrade to my pyramid super blue! Was running approximately 175 watts first two weeks to break in then moved up to 550 watts and I can't believe the lows I can get out of the EViL 8 in a bazooka tube! Don't know why I decided to mount on to my tube but had to reverse mount the sub because motor is so large that it takes up a lot of room in tiny tube. Now I did mount in my bandpass and sealed boxes I have to test sound quality and differences from old subs but on both boxes I had to modify the cut out hole larger because this so beefy! But other than that this is solid as of 03/19/2023 and it was initially installed late February so only about a month in will update review in several months! ... show more

I cannot believe how much bass this little guy puts out. If you want to keep your trunk space and add tons of bass, this is a great buy. It is power hungry, so you will want a good 1200w amplifier. Look up "amp dyno" on youtube. This is a great reference for a good amp. I purchased the "Soundstream TXP1.6000D" on amazon. 1200w @ 2 ohms. CON: I did not like how close the mounting screw location is very close to the hole that the speaker fits in. Shipping was high. However, the price that they are selling for offsets the shipping cost. Still a fair price in total. ... show more
