Skar Audio created this custom loaded enclosure package to deliver powerful, deep, and tight bass in an all-in-one competition-grade system. This package features two, 12-inch, dual 4-ohm, Skar Audio SDR Series subwoofers, which are pre-loaded and wired up inside of a custom dual 12" ported enclosure. Next, we pair the loaded enclosure of this package with the Skar Audio RP-1500.1D Class D mono-block amplifier, the perfect amplifier to power your new system and matched for perfect compatibility and power handling with the included subwoofers. Finally, we include a premium Skar Audio 4 Gauge OFC premium amplifier wiring kit to install your new system, making installation hassle free. The Skar Audio SDR series of subwoofers were designed to deliver hard hitting, low spectrum sound. Featuring a high flux ferrite motor, these versatile 12-inch woofers are conservatively rated at 1,200 watts max power each. When looking for a system that delivers low end frequencies with authority, look no further. This is the perfect solution for a daily driver that can handle whatever is thrown at it, offering unmatched reliability and sound quality. The enclosure housing the subwoofers features a unique kerf middle port and split chamber woofer design, allowing for extreme levels of bass output. This is a very well blended package. I am very pleased with the sound. I have had some really hard hitting systems but this is up there. I have it in an Avalanche with the wall behind the back seat removed. It really shakes the interior. I have seen a few people complain about the remote wire being too small. Just strip it back about an inch and a half twist it together then fold it back a couple of times. It works just fine now. So a small corner of the carpet is worn on the box already and it's only been installed about a week but it does not affect the performance of the the system so I'm pleased. Update : I had an issue with one of the push terminals on the side of the speaker box. They messaged me back fast and sent me the replacement push terminal. Great customer service ... show more

RARELY do you find a product that not only meets, but exceeds your expectations! Because of this, I never take the time to write reviews (although I've used several great products through the years). I just don't have the time. ... With this sub/amp kit I had to find the time to write my FIRST Amazon review. ... Purchased this set up for Christmas this year to go in my daughter's Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. I can honestly say I am (literally) BLOWN AWAY by the sound quality and quantity! These things HIT HARD - hooked up the the factory head unit. We only have the amp turned up about half way and she hardly ever turns the bass controller over half way up. We're still in the break in period, but I doubt she will ever need more! COMPLETELY SATISFIED! ... show more

So the sub itself is great. Good value for the money for sure. However.. The wiring kit that comes with it, specifically the remote turn on wire, the gauge is to small or the nut that you use in the amp itself to tighten it down isn't long enough. I spent 20 minutes on this alone and ended up stripping the nut and it's now stuck in the amp. I had to tape the remote wire into the amp for it to work, because it would just never catch the wire. Time will tell as to how this hold up, but now it's really my only option. I'm curious if Skar would assist me in this case but I'll have to see. Other than that everything works as it should and sounds great and I haven't even tuned it yet. Seriously this is my first system and it's VERY loud. ... show more
