This sub (10" evl in box) hits like two twelves. I am very impressed with the sound quality of this thing. I bought it with the skar 1200 x 1 amp and the combination of these two is amazing. I have the gain on the amp at 3/4 and the bass boost set at 6 DBS, on my stereo the bass is at -4, and this one sub pounds as hard as any 2 I've ever had. Very pleased with this purchase and would recommend them to everyone I know. So worth the wait and the cash spent. Would definitely buy this setup again. ... show more

Had the 10" EVL installed in my Ford Escape and I couldn't be happier. I only have a 500w amp hooked up and everytime its playing, I cant help but think to myself " Wow, this thing is only being pushed halfway." It hits the lows perfectly and as I said, I couldn't be happier. The enclosure feels to made of solid materials. If you have looked into high end car audio, dont be fooled by the low price tag of this EVL subwoofer. When you think of cheap car audio, Sony XPlod comes to mind, I dont see how this quality product is being offered at such a great price. If your looking for major bass and your on a budget.... EVEN IF YOUR NOT ON A TIGHT BUDGET.... GET YOURSELF ONE OF THESE SUB..... You wont be disappointed. You can thank me later. ... show more

Paired up the loaded enclosure with a skar RP-800.1D amp, set the low pass filter to 100ish hz, set the subsonic filter to 30ish hz, set the gain to around 75% and this thing absolutely HAMMERS!

Installed with 2k watt skar amp, sounds good, hits hard for a 10". Was a fosgate fan but now I wont go back. Only disappointment was no sticker to go with it, I had ordered a 15" for another vehicle and it came with stickers.

This 10" evl hits hard. I couldn't believe how much bass it puts out. Paired up with an Infinity amp it shakes the sun visors down and broke off the rearview mirror. Frequency response and sound is amazing. Buy this loaded box.
