I bought my first 630 3-speed "Around the Block" beach cruiser in 2018. I found it rugged, durable, comfortable and I got numerous comments from strangers saying, "That's a cool bike!" Even though it was not meant to be treated like a mountain bike, well I did. I live in the AZ desert and I like to explore and go down trails. After making sure I had a good formula against getting flats, I took it everywhere. Three years later I needed a bike to cruise around in Illinois where I was renting a temporary apartment. So I bought the exact same bike. I knew it well and changing tires/flats was really easy on the 3-speed. They can be assembled really quick because in the box 80% of the job is already done for you. After using it for a month I packed it in the original box and sent it to my Arizona home. Now I have two and absolutely love them. I bought a basket for the rack on the back ( which is on my first bike, not my second bike pictured) and I also put a basket up front for when I go grocery shopping. You see, I have a vision issue which does not allow me to drive a car. So I have to go get my groceries and get around on the cruiser. I even can fit my little guitar amp in my basket and go to gigs downtown. I pay zero dollars in fuel. I also bought a couple rear view mirrors. I'm set. It's a great bike and simple. I am a minimalist and I like things simple, yet durable. Six Three Zero have produced a great bike.

I have no complaints about this bike, at all. It's BEAUTIFUL! It is quality through and through. Plus, it rides so comfortably. It was very easy to assemble if you have any experience at all with bikes. I love the built in rack, as a mother of 4 I use it all the time to haul their water bottles when we do family rides. Another awesome part about this bike is the 3 speed internal hub. No chain derailer to get in the way of my riding. If you're in the market for a new bike, you will not be doing yourself a favor by getting a sixthreezero.

First impressions of the bike out of the box was very good. Assembly was straight forward and fairly easy for anyone familiar with hand tools. I made sure the bike was assembled as perfectly as possible. After taking the bike for a few local rides on some dirt\paved trails, totaling approx. 40 miles, I decided to take it for a solo over-night bike-packing trip up at Grand Island, Michigan. My trip was to be approx. 28 miles of dirt trails, with an elevation gain of approx. 1,900 feet. Some of the sections of the trail were fairly rough with fallen branches, etc. My gear consisted of a standard backpack with sleeping bag, clothes, food, water, and misc. camping stuff, while my 6 lb. tent was strapped to the rear bike rack. This is how my trip went on this new 3-speed cruiser: After approx. 8 miles I noticed a lot of rattling on the back rack. Unfortunately, one of the upper mounting bolts had completely unthreaded and fallen out. Fortunately, I had some extra small bungee cords and was able to support it enough to continue on. After approx. 20 miles, my handlebars became loose and starting tilting up and down. Shame on me for not carrying the proper tools to tighten it up. I managed to ride this way for the final stretch to the end. Overall, it was a GREAT experience with the bike. After I got home, I evaluated the bolts that hold the back rack on and concluded that the stock bolts are too cheap, so I replaced them with automotive grade bolts. I realize that this bike was not designed for this type of use, hence the reason I am impressed with how it performed overall. I really loved sitting upright and enjoying the sights while pedaling the backcountry of Grand Island. In my opinion, although I had to walk it up several hills, it was much more enjoyable and comfortable than riding a mountainbike. I intend to take it on more bike-packing trips with the addition of some panniers. I LOVE the bike. The reason for deducting a star is because I feel the back rack and bolts are a bit on the cheap side. I am doubting the strength of the rack to support my next load of approx. 30 lbs., but we'll see. And the 3 speeds were GREAT. There were several small hills that I was able to peddle, which I would not have been able to with a single speed cruiser. Shifting was spot on. At this price, it's a great bike for the money.

Great bike for the money. Stylish. Assembly was straightforward, however the manual was generic and some of the steps did not apply to my bike; also, because of this, some of the nut and bolt sizes were different from the manual (had to make another trip out to the garage for correct sizes). The bike worked flawlessly out after assembly, and I've already put 8 miles on it (got it this morning at 7AM - thanks AMAZON... well, my wife won't thank you since the dogs barking woke her up!) Overall I would recommend this bike to anyone looking to cruise around the neighborhood, or for anyone wanting to follow their wife around with their toddler while she runs (my other bikes are too fast). I bought the 3 speed model which is perfect for Florida, but those who live in areas with more elevation changes (e.g. hills) may want to go for 7+ gears.

We ordered two of these. The bikes are fantastic and would get 5 stars, but the nightmare we experienced was when we unboxed them. They put the rack in the box underneath the rear tire. Whoever is packing them is then bolting the rear tire on, lodging the arms of the rack into rear assembly, between the gears and the frame, making it impossible to remove without taking it to a bike shop. We discovered it with the first bike and called threesixzero who told us to take it to a bike shop. We had to carry it to the car, because it cannot roll. The bike shop had to completely remove the rear wheel to dislodge the rack, which then they had to re-adjust the chain, etc. And now the rack and the bike frame is all scratched up. We got it home and realized the same exact thing happened to the other bike. Whoever is packaging them gets a Darwin Award! The bike shop could not believe it when we showed back up. Now the bikes are together, they are 5 stars, really. They need to fix this logistical error as it took up our entire day and we are out bike repairs and our new bikes are all scratched up.

Such a great looking bike. The white walls, the bike rack, the overall sturdiness. It's all fantastic. I was a little concerned about adjusting the brakes after installing the front tire, but it worked like a charm, which I chalk-up to workmanship. The bike was packaged with great care and included all the necessary documentation for a pretty quick assembly. Two very minor things: 1. The Around the Block 3 Speed includes a lug nut cover for the handle bars, but installing this is not (that I noticed) in the instructions, so foresight on that front will save you a few minutes. 2. While most of the necessary tools are supposed to be included with the bike, I didn't receive a hex tool for the handle bars. It wasn't an issue for me, but others may want to ensure they have a good wrench and hex tool set, just in case. At the end of the day, I couldn't be happier with this bike. It's been 2 or 3 decades since I've ridden a cruiser...or any bike. Super stoked to put some miles on this one with the kids.

According to the stickers on the bike, designed in Los Angeles, made in China. This would account for the terrible quality control issues. I bought this because of the price and reviews. It was protected great in the box. I started with the front wheel and this is where the inexcusable, terrible quality control issue was. My front forks were misaligned during welding resulting in the forks being offset by the diameter of the axle plus a little more. It was IMPOSSIBLE to get the wheel assembled correctly. I contacted sixthreezero about the issue and was told that they do not honor the warranty on "used" bike, which mine was not. I guess removing the bike from the box and attempting to assemble it qualifies it to be "used". The bike I ordered was NEVER assembled but was listed as "used" by amazon due to a couple of big holes in the box. I was told by a representative of sixthreezero that I should buy the forks myself and replace them on my NEW $400.00 bike. (great customer service, huh?) The bike cannot be returned to amazon because the packing materials were discarded immediately due to living in a small apartment. Why should I have kept them around when I expect something to be manufactured correctly and not defective. I deeply regret my decision to buy sixthreezero. I should have bought the Schwinn Sanctuary 7 or Huron or one of the Huffy models. I deeply regret buying this and recommending my wife and a few neighbors buy the brand before I completed assembly. The attached images show just how bad the forks were. If I'm lucky I can sell it for $50 or turn in into a rusting piece of junk in the yard. UPDATE: due to limited space and not wanting to pointlessly keep this piece of crap around, it has found it's way to the dumpster. BIG EXPENSIVE LESSON LEARNED!
