My family bought this chair lift for our elderly mother who has difficulty standing up from a chair. Her ability to get up from a chair directly affects her ability to continue to live in her own home, so it was important that we find a solution. She has a large recliner lift chair in her living room, but we were not able to find a smaller chair appropriate for sitting at a kitchen table. The SitnStand Portable Smart Rising Seat was the answer to a prayer! It works beautifully on her kitchen chair and provides comfortable seating for extending periods of time (she spends hours each morning sitting at the table). The controls are easy for Mom to use, and she enjoys the independence it gives her. She has not been able to stand up from the kitchen table on her own for at least a year, but the the SitnStand, she rises with ease, safely and comfortably every time. We had one glitch with the unit, however, but it was resolved to our complete satisfaction. After working perfectly for about two weeks, it began to malfunction. The user manual's trouble shooting suggestion worked for a day or so, but then it would only inflate to one level. I contacted customer service immediately via email and received an quick response. The customer service rep. offered to send a new unit immediately--it arrived 3 days later. The new unit works flawlessly and Mom comments every day that she doesn't know what she'd do without it. Another plus is that if electric power should fail for any reason, the SitnStand can be moved to her living room recliner so that she can stand. The portability is a real plus. I cannot recommend this product enough. It is a fantastic product and fills a real need for elderly or disabled people. Thank you for inventing such a life-changing product.

I Never write bad reviews! I purchased this on November 3, 2023. I called the customer service number due to battery not holding a charge through one use, after being charged all night. My 90-tear-old Dad was stuck in a chair, in public, as device would not operate. I was told he (John?) had never heard of this issue and corporate had not either. I was told a replacement battery would be sent. Then I was asked my address, then I was told they were out till shipment arrived before Thanksgiving. Most of this communication was via text. I have left voicemails asking to speak with an owner or someone with authority. My guess is John is the owner. I told them I would not write a bad review or mention anything negative if we could just resolve the issue. Now, my texts and voicemails are being ignored. The fact that others have reported the same issues concerns me as this was a lot of money. I will contact the BBB next. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Product works as advertised. Make sure after 2 days of use you charge the battery so you don’t have any issues in the morning. The only downside is there is no water proof cover. Mom made one. ( a towel works… )

Recently my husband underwent surgery to reattach torn tendons to anchors placed in his knee. While he can do little to speed up the healing process, he was frustrated he couldn't independently stand from his recliner. The next year looked dismal, esp. just coming out after a long year in the house because of COVID. Working from home, I was able to assist him. However, he had to wait for hours until I was finished with work conference calls. In addition, a couple of my back disks are ruptured and I feared I would injure myself and not be able to assist him. I researched many options. The spring chair lifter cushions. Chairs that would lift him. The first didn't seem comfortable and potentially the springing action was unsafe since you can't control. Some lifting chairs were less expensive compared to SitnStand but I wasn't sure if the chair would be as comfortable as the one we had at home. Plus majority of styles/color wouldn't match our modern home. Last, a chair is not portable from our primary home to our secondary home. I hesitated to buy SitnStand because of cost (compared to an actual lift chair) and didn't appear it would inflate high enough to lift my husband. Amazon's easy return policy removes any risks. Without finding any other viable options, I purchased. It was delivered yesterday. We've only had it for a day and it far exceeded our expectations. It is easy to use and very comfortable (as if he is sitting in his chair w/o a cushion). We are tickled pink. Husband loves it and can now leave his chair on his own. Most importantly his mood is much better. Will also enable me to work away from home without worry.
