The box was nearly destroyed when it arrived at our house. The lift itself is flimsy and doesn't reach high enough to lift a person from a bed let alone to a wheelchair. We are desperate for a lift for my quadrapelic husband when he comes home to do transfers and this device is absolutely horrible leaving us in a horrible bind. I tried to buy two refurbished patient lifts for my mom and my uncle from local website. Luckily I found this local seller and picked up two open boxes from their Texas warehouse.
