This product is an absolute lifesaver! I needed this for my spouse with MS. When she falls, it is very difficult to help her up to a safe space. It may take hours and is often very strenuous mentally and physically for both of us. While we have used belts and IndeeLift (another fabulous product for someone who has more physical strength), we needed something even easier for days that are really rough. This lift was incredible! It is sooooo easy to use and took minutes to use. As a caregiver, it meant an injury free way for me to assist. It also was a mental lifesaver because it is very challenging during these times. For my spouse (more importantly), she did not get hurt and did not have to use an insane amount of energy. For some people with MS and mobility issues, it is hard to pull out energy particularly during falls which tend to happen during flare-ups. Having this also meant that we did not have to call for outside help. Recently, we've been calling 911 after trying for several hours on our own. My wife is very independent and does not want to both 911 and other people. This lift allowed us to do it on our own. Since we have had this product, I have felt more confident moving her about as I know that it is there if needed. For comparison, my spouse is around 6' and 240 pounds. I am much shorter and half her size. Let's take a moment to talk about the customer service. Incredible! They were there with me at the key moments when I needed them. First, let me share that when deciding to purchase, I was able to text, and they responded right away. This made my decision easy. Most importantly, when I first needed to use it during an unfortunate fall, I couldn't get it to work. I even tested it first, so I knew that it worked (side note, it was quite comfortable when I was the end-user). Anyway, I reached out and they responded two seconds later. Through chat and pictures, I found out that I didn't have one of the plugs pushed it. It was such a huge relief. This fall happened before a treatment, so time was of the essence. With that quick response, I was able to safetly get her back to her chair (from floor) and we were able to continue getting ready. After the appointment, we decided to use it again to transfer from wheelchair to lift recliner. It was easy again and even easier know that we know how to use it. It was relatively easy to put together. I watched the videos on youtube. While they can't show every little step, it gave me enough to work on to put it together in quick time. I knew that I could reach out if needed extra assistance. Additionally, it is made with high quality and easy to fold up to save space. I have more to say about all the great things but I want to get this review out so that it can help others. One more thing, I love that it is owned by a woman! We are so thrilled with this product and I know that it will be there for us when we need it. While I wish that we wouldn't have to have a NEED for it, we do and I am so glad that we have this doudouX lift. It truly has made our lives better mentally and physically and can see it doing so the rest of our lives. Thank you!

Excellent hoyer for my 300 lb husband. He is 6ft 4 and the sling that comes with this is perfect for transfers. The hoyer base fits under most of our furniture and we have managed to make adjustments for some of our furniture. A carpenter friend created a base for his recliner. The customer support is excellent !!!!!! They responded to my text messages within minutes and are very good to help you navigate any issues that you might have. I just can’t say enough good about them and will definitely order from them again and refer them to others !

The sling is not the sling that they show in the video. This is a full body sling and cannot be placed on a person once they’re in a wheelchair. I wanted the one that I could put on a person if they’re sitting in a wheelchair and they need to be Transferred.

First of all, I am 91 years old, taking care of my wife of 72 years who suffered a stroke and has difficulty walking and standing. I am constantly on the lookout for medical devices that would make hers and my life easier. Needless to say I have several items that were going to do that; however, they didn't work. The Doudou patient lift was a pleasant surprise. This is a piece of equipment that not only delivers what I hoped for but exceeds my expectations. No more tugging and pulling on my 88-year-old wife to get her in and out of her wheelchair. And putting her to bed is a breeze. We are still experimenting with the lift and practicing its basic functions. I can't say enough about the quality of the lift. This is a first-class piece of equipment. I had one occasion to contact customer service and let me ask you all - when was the last time you contacted any vendors customer service and received a reply in less than an hour. On top of that, the reply was easy to understand and solved the problem I was having. As it turns out the problem was my lack of understanding how to do something. Clearly this product and vendor deserve a 5 star review.

Excellent performing, well-made product, sold by an exceptional supplier. Other than removing locking pin devices, very little had to be done regarding set up other than getting it out of the box. It comes with decent instructions and videos are available through the supplier. They answered my text message questions within minutes. Customer Service can’t be beat. I also love supporting a Texas based supplier who by the way, is an all woman business. They were fantastic! My purchase was based on easy set up, very good height Lift and wide leg spread to accommodate my power wheelchair.

This lift has been a lifesaver. My 71 year old husband was literally hurting himself with the manual lift that Medicare had approved for home use. The only way I could ever leave the house for an appointment or even just to go for a ride, was to hire a transport service. This was very expensive and sometimes we would have to wait for hours to be picked up from a medical appointment. I asked my husband to research the internet and to see if there was a lift that could help get me into our small SUV. Welcome! The DouDouX! Where before it took my husband with help from a part-time caregiver to even get me onto the manual lift to move me to a wheelchair. Now we can go when we want to go. My husband can operate the lift on his own, get me into the car and even take the lift with us if need be. This has changed our life! The best part was customer service. They said if they could help they would help and they did! We are forever grateful. They stand behind their products and even if you think your questions are silly they treat you with the utmost kindness and respect. Never have we experienced such warm and genuine customer support like this. And we couldn’t be happier.
