Pros: I washed it in my dishwasher top rack only and it cleaned perfectly , including the cap I hate buying bottles where the cap has dishwasher water collection, it irks me because then I have to hand wash the top myself which is a total waste of my time and more water. I filled it up with water and let it cool over night and the water tasted amazing The body design is amazing and comfortable It seals amazing, I had it stored on its side that first night I drank from it for a few gulps and it was heavenly I love the drink spout I wish more water bottles had this exact design The price was perfect and I was set to buy 4 more because I love my city tap water, I hate buying bottles water , I am very picky about pre bottles water flavor and I really only buy 2 main brands if I can find them and water bottles these days have such a small twist cap that half the time I loose that and then it just becomes water for the dogs if they are with me or water for the nearest plant. So here is the con that removes stars for me The flip lid is NOT easy for me to open And maybe that is because the amazing, wish every sports or water bottle wide mouth was exactly like this, it’s too close to the flip lid that after a few drinks I found my dirty finger/thumb that was opening the flip top, would graze my mouth piece to drink from. I know a lot of people this wouldn’t bother and that would make this perfect for them, but .. I am a multiple pet household, I have kids and I have food allergies that are deadly. I also know taking it around town I don’t get to wash my hands frequently and touching merchandise, money, car doors, steering wheels, other peoples dogs, or being In a medical office or just the local market, I’m not going to want my dirty fingers grazing the part my mouth goes over to take a drink. It’s not hygienically up to my standards. However my son loves it and says he will take it because it’s the most perfect water bottle he has ever used , especially because it allows water to be crisp and fresh and he has no issues drinking from a spout that grazes his dirty hands. Which he says it’s not just me who is a hard time opening it, he does as well and he indeed also grazes the mouth piece with his dirty fingers. I’m jealous, it really is almost the perfect water bottle , if only the flip top was easier to open with just a little bit more lip to get under to open or the spout just pushed back a hair , I don’t know , but I hope this review helps you decide to try or not to try it. I love most Sistema products and own dozens of their products, I never have them leak on me and I specifically look for something in Sistemas collection first. No one paid me to post this, it’s not part of an offer, I bought it for 9.99 with my own monies. And of any one from Sistema reads this, please change the way the cap opens because this really was like drinking refreshing water from a fresh clean glass and I really wanted to love it ... show more
