I originally bought a large as my head size is 7 3/8 but it was way too big. I returned it and got a medium which is perfect. The hat has a good shape but a little stiff. There is no content label but i think it must be mostly or all polyester.

Since hair loss, its hard to find a cap with lots of coverage and no snap back. Love these! Have several colors. Wish they would bring extra small back. Three sizes!

I suffered the same experience as another reviewer: The large hat size is too small and the extra large hat size is too large. Otherwise, this hat is well constructed and of excellent cotton material. Its sad that I can't wear either hat that I bought.

    • These Hats Do Not Hold Up Well

I have purchased many of these caps/hats over the years, but I stopped buying them last year. They just don't last very long. The material is thin. They look great until you have to eventually wash them. They shrink up and completely lose their shape as soon as they are washed, even in cold water and hanging them out to dry. I do not recommend this product....and the price has gone up too high! ... show more

These caps are actually true to size. The XL fits, but isn't snug to where it feels like an elastic on your head. There's enough give to place a shemagh on the head with the hat over it to provide additional protection from the sun. I will definitely order again, but in a different color. These are a nice alternative to the ballcaps of city dwellers and country boys and ideal for the desert where proper cover is a must. ... show more
