    • Sluggish and Battery Depletes Quickly

My first scooter (different brand) was stolen the Friday before Christmas so I ordered this as a replacement. One of the reasons I picked this scooter was because I could put a lock through the frame making it more secure to leave it locked up while at the gym. Here’s my one week review… Cons: 1. This scooter is very sluggish - it takes a bit to pick up speed and struggles to reach 18 mph. If you hit a headwind, forget going any faster than 14/15mph. 2. The battery doesn’t last too long. I’ve seen the battery drop from 5 to 4 bars before I even reach the end of a city block. It drops to 2 bars in under 2 miles (without using the headlamp). Thankfully, I’m not riding it too far so I hopefully I won’t get stranded. 3. It’s heavy and the handlebar stem slips out of the clip pretty easily when the scooter is folded and you’re trying to carry it. Pros: 1. It feels pretty sturdy and seems to handle the crappy city streets pretty well. 2. Has an open frame at the base of the handlebar stem so you can feed a lock through the frame instead of just around the handlebar stem. There are definitely better scooters available at this price point. This is ok if you need a more secure way to lock it and are not planning to travel too far between charges. ... show more
