This memory foam is thick enough and feels really comfortable . If I had to compare I’d say it feels like a pillow top on a mattress. I used it for my son’s toddler bed since his mattress is too hard. He loves it.

I really like this twin sized mattress topper. When I first bought it, I was worried it was too small for my twin bed. However, after 24 hours, it fully expanded to the correct size. It turned my hard memory foam mattress into a soft cloud, and I really love it. I got the 4 inch kind, which I was hesitant about because I thought it might be too cushy, however, I’m very happy with it. It did take a couple of days for the chemical smell to dissipate, but now it’s fine, and I absolutely love it. It makes sleeping on my side easier. I also bought a softer memory foam pillow to complement the softer mattress topper. Others in the reviews have mentioned that the topper can rip easily, and this is true— it is heavy but delicate, so when you lift it to place it on the bed, be careful not to let it tear. Bough this for our pull out couch as we had people visiting us for couple of weeks. Wanted to provide the extra comfort on top of the mattress that came with the couch. We got the 4 inch one. The opinion of our guests were mixed. One loved it and this wife didn’t that much. I guess better that nothing. For years I’ve used feather beds, and while nothing compares to sinking into a freshly fluffed feather bed I was just tired of the daily fluffing and weekly flipping. I tried some foam pads that either were too flimsy or too hard, and a poly-filled pad that never was as fluffy as advertised and went completely flat in a couple of weeks. Finally I gave this pad a try and it’s a winner! I left it out flat for 24 hours and it fully expanded to the advertised thickness. I’m not fond of the stickiness of sleeping on memory foam so I put the poly topper over it, and it’s perfect! The right amount of softness. No hip pain or back aches when I wake up, and adding the extra pad prevents the feeling of trying to roll over in wet sand that I don’t love in memory foam. Glad I bought it. ... show more

At first I thought do not open that box, as you wont be able to get it back in the box to return it . I have tried many foam toppers. And liked none. However; I did open it, and I am so glad that I did. I have been sleeping so soundly. I couldn't afford a Purple mattress so I wanted something that would feel like one. I honestly wasn't expecting much, but this slab of foam has made all the difference in my pain and sleep quality! I have a "medium firm" mattress that I purchased 3 years ago, and it's been causing a lot of pain and stiffness, especially in my legs and hips. It's more firm than medium, and has never softened up despite the fact that I'm not a small, lightweight person. Sometimes I wake up barely able to walk, and my legs would be numb. That hasn't been happening since I've used this topper! I wake up feeling pain free and well rested. I'm really happy with it and I may buy a backup for when it starts to go flat. I ordered this for myself because my mattress is kind of old and uncomfortable, a topper was cheaper than a new mattress. After hours of searching and reading reviews I decided on this one. It comes in many different sizes and thicknesses, whatever you're looking for there's an option for it. It arrived a day early and only took 12 hours to fully expand (it arrived vacuum sealed). It is SO COMFORTABLE! It's now been about 2 months and I've been sleeping better, my back doesn't hurt in the mornings and it fit my bed perfectly. Also I noticed some reviews on others mentioned an odd smell? This one didn't have any smell to it when I opened it or put it on my bed. It was totally worth the money I spent on it.
