I liked the atheistic and the reviews, so that was enough for me. Turns out, these are very nice looking and sounding speakers. The have a great bass level, and the mid and highs are decent. Really like the styling and sound quality of these shelf speakers. I wasn't looking for Bluetooth speakers that needed to be charged all the time. So, I specifically liked the fact that these came with an AC adapter to provide consistent power. Additionally, the 80 watts give you the ability to add a subwoofer or additional speakers to the system. The remote completed the package!!! ... show more

Great for beginners and those just looking to add a nice clean look with a decent sound. Definitely not the absolute best sound ever, but it would cost 3X to get that. These speakers are great for our small house and super nice to look at from across the room. Hooked up very easy to my turntable. They sound just a bit tinier than I expected, but turn down the treble and it’s better. Can go pretty loud, but don’t need that for our space. ... show more

For what they are, their sound reproduction is very, very good. To expect them to be able to reproduce extreme low freq would be stupid, as they're only mids and highs. The remote works well, they look very high quality. Glad I purchased these instead of the more expensive ones, as they meet my needs (speakers for my PC) very well.     • SPEAKER FAILED - both "terrible" and "good" at the same time.
**Update-4/25/2020" LIne 1 input failed causing one speaker not to work. I switched out cables, reloaded sound drivers.......what the heck is going on???? Then I grabbed some $18 cheap speakers and hooked it up and they worked perfectly confirming that that Line 1 input in the back of these speakers went bad. I think it's a shame that under 30 days these speakers failed. Quality is really the issue here.....not sound for the price you pay. IMO, I would stay far away from these speakers. =============================================================================== This speaker is both "terrible" and "good" at the same time. I have a love hate relationship with these speakers. I am a low budget Audiophile; with over 25 years of listening to countless speakers, so I am very qualified to write what I'm saying. If you are looking for speakers that are better than your average computer speakers aka under $30 pair for whatever use......then these will fit the bill. BUT.......if you are looking for speakers that will produce a full rich sound for music.....then do not buy these. These speakers are both surprising and disappointing all at the same time. So you get great imaging and details for highs.....but then the speakers absolutely starts falling off the cliff when articulating voices and mid bass. Small speakers like this only produce mid-bass which is fine.......BUT these speakers are missing something very, very, very critical. These speakers are missing mid-bass, warmth, and depth when listening to music which translate to a "hollow sound". I couldn't quite put my finger on what was missing until I compared them to another set that had the same specs. So if all you're looking for is connectivity for BT and Auxs and something that produces clarity in the field of overall generalized listening.....then get these. BUT ABSOLUTELY do not buy these speakers if you want a full rich sound for music because you'll be sorely disappointed. I am to the point where I am thinking about returning them....but at the same time, I only paid $68 for them and it's not like you'll find anything comparable in the same price range that will produce the same kinda sound. So that's the Ying/Yang of my review!!!!!! ... show more
