This multimeter was an excellent purchase. I bought this primarily for working on guitar effect pedal builds, and it has been a great tool. The build quality of the heavy-weight plastic enclosure feels very secure, it comes with durable plastic covers for the terminals and components, a sturdy carrying case, and measures all resistance, capacitance, etc. I need it to. I get consistent readings quickly, and the price point was a good value.

Good quality, good design, lots of features, includes three different types of probes. Was surprised how feature rich this is for the price. Easy to read screen that is backlit. Oy downside is that the manual is in small print, but I scanned and enlarged it, the built in flashlight isn't very bright, and the NCV takes a second to detect, but none of these are blockers, especially considering this price.

I've only had this for a week or so. Delivery was very fast. Item was well-packaged. Appreciated the included alligator clips and especially the carrying case and kickstand. Access to the battery and to the fuses is very easy. It seems to work well enough for general automotive and household uses. The NCV feature is just OK, but that is probably the case for all low-priced MMs with this feature. I don't rely on it, but its nice to have an audible signal that there might be a live wire or outlet. Seems like good value for the price.

I have older Radio shack models but the one is beginning to fall apart. I decided to replace it with this model. What I like is you can have the back light or not , you can bypass the auto shut off if you choose. I comes with two sets of usable test leads plus the temp probe. The case is nice better than most. Plus I tried another temp sensor that has a metal prob so it can be put in oil or water and it reads he same. Most of all I asked a question via the company and got my answer the next day. Not like the other meter I got who claimed to get back but never did.

The meter has auto ranging that I really like. The probes are soft and supple and give the feel of quality. The meter housing material and the over all heft also give one the impression that the meter is tough enough to handle daily use. The capability of the meter is more than enough for home, automotive and appliance repair that I will use it for. I don’t think you can go wrong for the price.
