I was able to put both tables together in about 45 mins-1 hour (by myself). The instructions were pictures (step by step) and once you understood what was what the process with smoothly. They are quite solid and sturdy. They are perfect for my needs and I’m happy with the look. I looked at several furniture stores for small side tables and the cost started at $175 and higher…. I like that the bottom can slip under the couch which has less than 2 inches of space. I'm not using them for anything heavy; a drink and a few remotes. Putting them together was pretty easy with only two minor issues. First, a couple of the upright parts that you have to slide together did not want to slide. I had to tap a couple with a small hammer, taking care to protect the ends. Second, a couple of the screws or screw holes had minor burrs that made them difficult to screw. If you've never put anything together, you might need a hand but most people should be fine. One star off for these issues, otherwise would be 5 stars.

Had a similar table that fell apart after less than a year. From assembly these are much sturdier. Excellent for use in a smaller space when you do not have room for an end table or coffee table.
