I recently purchased a 5,500 yard roll of the Smithread Mulberry (S082) thread. The thread itself is fine and does an adequate job. However, finding the end-point of the thread was a major task. By the time it was located, several feet of thread were destroyed in the effort. This is not the first time I have encounter such an issue with the 5500 yard Smithread spools. I changed my mind, I'm not returning this and I'm going to invest in a good embroidering machine instead. It's time to start making my own and this stuff if it's as good as the bonded upholstery thread is I know it will be worth 5 stars.
